  1. Wow, no wonder I can't remember it then. Funny how there seems to be a correlation between clean sheets and victories 🤔
  2. We haven't conceded in 500 minutes of football now. I honestly can't remember the last time I read that about any Rovers team.
  3. The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Third Stone From The Sun
  4. They might find it in their heart but when they go to find it in their wallet they'll likely be struggling.
  5. It's something we all go through at one time or another. No shame in talking about it. I'm sure there will be no shortage of support on here.
  6. I remember it was something like he came from Real Madrid and didn’t cost a quid That was a looooong time ago now.
  7. Yeah I really can't understand this whole thing. However we do live in a world where you can order extrajudicial executions of hundreds of people and also be the holder of the nobel peace prize.
  8. I always remember that Man U used to relentlessly play to the whistle under Fergie. They scored so many late goals that way and won so many games from it. It was so obvious, yet no one else ever seemed to realise it. We were always the opposite, drop off in the last ten minutes and concede. Infuriating is the word I think. Playing to the whistle and overall game management is so often lost on so many teams. If we can master that aspect of the game then I think we can really give people a good hiding.
  9. Morrissey - We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful
  10. I am angry at the whole league. That's the point. I find it sad that some people have total cult like devotion that they can't respect the decision of other fans who choose not to financially support the people who have totally wrecked the club they support.
  11. If the goal isn't to get back into the top division then what is the point?
  12. It's great to see the team all celebrating as one when they score. Van Hecke went mental when he scored and ran over to celebrate with the fans. That's what it is all about for me. I think the way we are playing at the moment is great. We should be eying up an automatic promotion spot instead of pissing around with the playoffs. I've had enough health problems of recent, I don't need a heart attack to go with it. Especially with being on the other side of the world it's very hard to follow the games.
  13. A few good results in the second division will not bring back the thousands of fans that walked away in total disgust. The only thing that would possibly tempt them back is: 1. Venkys sell up, piss off and never be seen again. (pretty obvious really) 2. We are sitting fourth in the league a bit closer to the end of the season. That's the Premier League by the way. Also the disgraceful state of Ewood is sorted out, the training ground is back on the books as an asset of BRFC and the club is being run well by people of the John Williams, Tom Finn calibre and all the great things they used to do for the fans are back in place (cheap tickets, free coach travel to big away days like the League Cup semi against Wednesday etc..) I think a lot of the people who are giving shit to the people boycotting must be young and missed out on all of that.
  14. From the meagre highlights I have seen of the last two games it looks like Pears has played well. He made a few important saves and most importantly of all the is a big fat zero next to the opposition name on the scoreboard.
  15. Selling Diaz half way through the season will show how little ambition the owners have. Unless of course the ambition is to line the pockets of agents and the like. After all, it wouldn't be the first time they have done that.
  16. Why care about fans in the grounds when there are a lot of casual spectators in foreign lands watching on the telly.
  17. It's on the pitch on match day where it counts. That is the only thing players can be judged on.
