It really is such a breath of fresh air having a manager who is positive about things. Saw a video of him saying he can't wait for the first game etc. Contrast that with the last five years of that complete bell end Mowbray always whinging about how everyone else is so much better than we are and we're all so tired.

I think selling him at that point would have been totally mad. We'd be going on about how we sold one of our best players to a rival team. His poor performances during the second half of the season could have been sorted out by a decent manager.

We did. Then that tosser Mowbray spat the dummy out and did nothing to stop us losing game after game. We played like that in the second half against Derby and we know what happened after that.

Time will tell. I think the squad should be quite receptive to new ideas and some actual positivity coming from the coaching staff. High pressing is all the rage nowadays so hopefully the players are into it. We definitely need five quality players to push us on though.

I think the extra couple of thousand will probably renew like you say. The reality is that the season ticket base has been whittled down to the hard core supporters who would go no matter what. To me that's why the pricing is so disgraceful. They know that there will be the 7-8 thousand who will get a season ticket no matter what so they are just squeezing the most possible out of them. Its incredibly exploitative and down right disrespectful. The people in charge of this are either so incompetently brainless or they are complete scum.
