  1. Surely this is a rhetorical question as we all know what the answer is.
  2. Howlin Wolf - Back Door Man
  3. I reckon they've looked at the running costs of league one vs championship clubs and seen that league one is cheaper so that's now the mission. Relegate the club and don't have to send as much over for running costs.
  4. We'll be the only club deliberately trying to get relegated in that bunch.
  5. So we can't even afford a free transfer now. Won't somebody please think of the FFP
  6. That was one of the worst tournament games I have ever seen. England playing like a team with absolutely no plan whatsoever. What have they been doing for the last month in training?
  7. If England and the FA have any intention of winning the competition they need to fire Southgate at full time and replace him with someone who understands the concept of winning a football match.
  8. England look absolutely gash. No excuse for them not hammering these teams. Southgate is absolutely not good enough to be the manager of the national team. He's an average League One manager at the absolute best.
  9. Be thankful they've bothered to give out any messaging at all.
  10. They own a bunch of companies. They could have done this with any of them at any point over the last 14 years and they haven't. This argument of FFP is complete bollocks. Every single opportunity they have to generate any kind of revenue is passed up. Only now that they have been banned from sending over money have we seen some action in the form of selling our best players for absolutely nothing. Still no attempt to get a decent sponsorship on the shirt. Still no attempt to get more people into the ground generating more match day revenue. Still no attempt to get the club promoted, in fact they've done the opposite, repeatedly and deliberately.
  11. If they had anything about them they'd crawl back into the sea and never come out.
  12. Nah, it looked better in 94 when it was unboxed.
  13. Ok then I'll bite. There have been 127 Scottish League seasons. Of these 109 have been won by two teams. You have to go back to 1985 for the last time a team that wasn't Celtic or Rangers won the competition. If that's not a Mickey Mouse league then I don't know what is. The comparison to Croatia is interesting as their small time league was only formed in the early 90s as a result of the US and NATOs destruction of Yugoslavia, so naturally it will be much weaker as many of the other big sides that were part of the Yugoslav League such as Red Star were now not in the same competition. Seemingly this hasn't deterred the Croats from building a strong national team.
  14. The Clash - White Riot Album version obviously.
  15. You're assuming we put that much effort in to it?
  16. To be honest if the sponsorship money isn't the thick end of a million why even bother? The totally wank deal was rumoured to be a hundred grand. I'd hazard a guess that the only reason they aren't on there this year is because they broke off the deal not the club. Just another day at venky fc. Nothing against Watson Ramsbottom by the way, it's a massive windfall for them in terms of exposure.
  17. Not here though. FFP and all...
  18. He's a long way from being fit to lace Shearer's boots.
  19. Hadn't we signed three players in June last year?
  20. The late 90s saw an influx of foreign talent into the UK. But Scotland went really really shit really really fast. They went from opening the world cup against Brasil to getting pumped by the Faroe Islands in the space of just a few years. The game also changed a lot so being a hard man grafter that could play a bit wasn't quite enough anymore. Having a Mickey Mouse two team league won't be doing any favours for their youth development either.
