  1. Well, I hope they have at least one more performance like that in them because they owe the fans big time after that disgrace at t'Turd.
  2. I get that but last night's performance was out of the ordinary. I absolutely hate to say this but b*ly are consistently comfortably better than us.
  3. I couldn't take another pasting off the Inbreds.
  4. I've just Googled him. He's playing for Sevilla!
  5. Is anyone going to mention Dolan's touch in controlling JRC's sublime crossfield pass?
  6. Whilst accepting the valid points made about Tomasson's achievements under trying circumstances I can't get past the capitulation at b*ly. I can't listen to Tomasson or bear to see his face.
  7. I live overseas but work with a lot of Expats most of whom are Football fans. They're all talking about the game and showing lots of interest. Personally, I can't wait for it to be over, I actually feel sick.
  8. You need help for this weird obsession.
  9. How long before Spurs are reported as "lining up a swoop"?
  10. I love a horrible scrappy home win, they are the stuff of successful seasons. The Yahoos have had 2 in a week and they've got Rotherham at t'Turd on Wednesday. Anyone that finishes above them goes up for me but I fancy we'll get our first draw of the season in the Land That Time Forgot.
  11. Looks like it has been noted that we are in the top 2.
  12. Well, it's nice of you to be so concerned but I wouldn't despair too much. I'm sure he'll feel better when he opens his banking app.
  13. If Carlsberg did weekends......
  14. Wouldn't that be the day way back when we announced Gary Croft and Gary Flitcroft to a confused Ewood crowd?
  15. Seems so. Probably not good enough for Super Scouts under 15s though.
  16. I hope this doesn't bite me on the arse but I'm more confident than I was for the QPR or Swansea games. WBA were poor last season, have an anachronistic manager who, for me, is a busted flush and are struggling with injuries. 1-0 Rovers.
  17. All b*ly shirts are foul but this is particularly nasty............and they've even managed to have a sponsor almost as cringey as ours.
  18. There's a marked difference between the playing side of the club when Mowbray took over to when he left. As has been pointed out, it's doubtful that JDT would be here had that not been stabilised and Mowbray obviously played a key role in that. Add that to our immediate return from League 1 ( ask Sunderland and Ipswich how easy that is) and it makes a reasonable case for him being more favourably viewed down the track. Of course, I'm pissing in the wind by daring to suggest such heresy on here
  19. His Death Spirals were infuriating but there was more to his five years than that.
  20. Mowbray was a frustrating manager who was in tenure for a couple of seasons too long at least but the antipathy towards him on here by some is weird and cult like.
  21. I think, with the passage of time, Mowbray's tenure will eventually be viewed more positively by some of his detractors.
  22. Exactly this. We need to hope that BBD and his agent don't want to risk serious injury in running down his contract and press for a move before the deadline.
  23. Very harsh. The lad has suffered two career threatening inquiries in our colours. He deserves more respect than that.
  24. I think we signed him on the back of an impressive loan season with Burton. I feel for the lad, he looks a decent footballer but he seemed to regress after every injury.
