Sheff W lost at Forest Green today. It's a 4 horse race for the top two. -
Poor from Kane. Gally would have buried that.

The one between Sellars and Hendry is Windy Miller I think? -

Agreed. 2 weeks of watching Harry Kane run round like a pensioner with arthritis, when you could be watching Sam 'the beast' Gallagher sprint round like a thoroughbred, has put me off England Internationals for life. -
Brittain coming on against Sheff U cost us a Wembley semi-final.

In 1903, a roof was built on the Darwen End of the ground, at a cost of £1,680. The stand now held 12,000 spectators. In 1906, construction started on a new main stand seating 4,112 on its upper tier with a paddock for 9,320 in front with changing rooms and offices underneath, cranked at one end to follow the angle of Nuttall Street. A double tiered Riverside Stand was built in 1913, bringing the capacity of Ewood Park up to 70,886 with 7,000 seats. Ewood Park - Wikipedia Although it doesn't mention the BBE or the Riverside Terrace, I don't think the ground changed much from when the above was built up to the 1970's. The record attendance was 62,500 so 47,000 would have seemed quire roomy! What I didn't know was that the Suffragettes tried to burn the Nuttall Street stand down in 1913. They did the same at Arsenal and PNE. -

Welcome to the real world some might say! -
I also thought that but apparently not according to people on here. However, there doesn't seem to be a deadline for an existing ST holder to claim their own seat? So a non-ST holder could conceivably rock up today at Ewood and buy a ST in an existing ST holders seat for next season and claim the 'super-saver' discount that runs until the 7th May. Either that, or they've massively fucked up their communication. Below is the bit that could be read either way: As a thank you, in appreciation for the magnificent support felt and enjoyed by the players and staff at Ewood Park this season, we’re offering a reduction in prices during a special super-saver period, which launches today and ends on Sunday 7th May, before our season finale against Millwall. Supporters are now able to secure their seat for the 2023-24 season, with £20 off last season’s early-bird headline price and £50 off our 2022-23 standard price.
