I dont listen to manager interviews since Mowbrays claptrap. However what ive heard i find grating and i havent warmed to the man. As a manager, I give him the same view. They are doing a job with their hands tied behind their back, even if he chose to be complicit in that. He's gone 5-3-2, hes won 6 out of 7. Hes doing better than I expected him to do, i still think we might have an implosion with someone of his personality.

As much as I enjoyed the total stunned silence when Denmark equalised a 2nd time, it was difficult not to get wrapped up in that finale. This Scotland side have dug deep a few times. Ive only been to 1 game on Scotland (not old firm and pre VAR) but i found it refreshingly less sterilised than in England and bit more like football 20/30 years ago. Plus 'a view from the terrace' is very decent viewing.

We have some who think that because we spent a few consecutive seasons of our entire history in the third division, 50 years ago we are punching above our weight now and Venkys are model owners. Plenty of our own fanbase across the ages do us down, despite our average finishing position being something like 15th in the pyramid. I dont care where we are so long as the aim every season is to maximise where we can finish that year and make most of the club. Not some journey nonsense to sell young players without pressure on results. I'm resigned that we can't remove them. They aren't present, rich enough to ignore us. Suhail said biggest mistake was reducing season tickets by 30 quid, that tiny dent to income seems to have hit a nerve but they will just squeeze most out of whoever is left.

Yet we will sign a player injured ? How soon will he be up to speed if ever.
