  1. We have to keep Travis, he's back to what got him in the side, box to box energy, sure he's a bit of a false hardman, but at least he's in people's faces and sticks up for his teammates, we went years without anyone doing that. I still think he has more to give. If we don't have a keeper at the end if this window, it's totally unacceptable given the farce with De Lange. The most important player on the pitch.
  2. I'm expecting absolutely nothing to change. If they can fund, history tells us they won't, if they can't fund, we've just sold Sammie, Gallagher, Raya money, Kaminski money, Wharton money it ticks along as per last 14 years. I don't even mind us being a sell to buy club, most clubs are, it's a prudent way of running a club. It's the fact they don't have the best interests of Rovers at heart , they don't reinvest and they and the low life's they employ treat the fanbase with utter disdain, everything is the lowest standard, bare minimum, damn right nefarious. If we were run in a way that we were all pulling in same direction, being ambitious as we could and trying to be the best Club we could, putting the fans at the heart of it , I'd take that in the evostick. I'm resigned to this perpetual death by a thousand cuts. It's only my sons growing enthusiasm , that's kept me engaged. I really want him to have the club I had, Ewood felt like a family and no matter what people say, we had a very good atmosphere and a hell of a lot of pride.
  3. Compare his self decided break, coasting for 6 months when he was looking to get out on a free with Sammie scoring 3 in 2 with a big move imminent. Dislike the guy , took us for a ride. 1 trick pony.
  4. We all know that any money for Szmodics is unlikely to be reinvested in the squad, so I've no issue in us keeping hold of him until we get what we want, the lad scored 33 goals. We flogged Wharton for below what he was worth. I can't see Szmodics kicking off or going on strike, from.1sr September, it's in his interest to keep scoring and playing. I do however think we'll accept whatever is on offer on August 21st.....
  5. Superb result. Gueye showing what we've lacked since Graham left. Subs put some energy into team and lifted the crowd. Good start to the weekend. Need a number 1 keeper. Enjoying the moment.
  6. Oh well thats fine then. Then why not put on Rovers TV too? Start delivering a better product there. It doesn't bother me, its a minor irritant, but not everyone has X or visits YouTube, it's a pretty easy thinklg, especially as they are branded RoversTV on the highlights.
  7. Sad news, one of the top players in the era I was growing up. I remember his century with only a single boundary in it, looking back that's testament to grit, patience and skill being able to manipulate the field for so long. I don't think many of today's Test batsmen could do that. A sad day for English cricket.
  8. New promoted team bounce, Sky on a Friday, not easy 2-2.
  9. ...more, agents to take an interest again once they think there is commission and deals to be made. Venkys have never had any interest. We could be 20 points adrift and they wouldn't give a hoot.
  10. My mate a lifelong Norwich fan, describes Batth as an absolute liability. We'll see, sure Sunderland fans would say different, even if he has been released from his last 2 clubs. Probably as good as we could do this window so far, picking up experienced frees at the last minute and enacting a release clause for what we sold Gallagher for. Looking forward to seeing the strike force in action, hope it's less Fode Koita and more Rudy Gestede. It needs to work because when Sammie goes, we need to find goals or we will go down. Clearly been waiting to shift Gallagher before offering any deals, not having MacFadzean in early is inexcusable really. Its good to have some experience in, thats been needed for years. I'm just concerned we're playing catch up again, pre-season has been and gone and we've got players on frees that presumably haven't been doing much. We're definitely shopping in the yellow sticker part of the aisle, as we all know but sometimes you get some nice surprises.
  11. Under 4000 adults sold, wow.
  12. Does anyone know why Molenbeek, hardly a side you'd think could write off a big signing for them for 50% of what they paid, only 12 months later? Was their a release clause ? Or they just absolutely desperate? Hopefully their loss means we've got a bargain....
  13. Whatever spin is put on them. Thanks for being open as you can and raising the concerns of the message board. It's a thankless task for anyone with this lot.
  14. Welcome. Let's hope he hits the ground running, his experience with tribal voodoo and prostitutes should make his visit to the Turf feel like he's at home.
  15. Came here to say this 😂 Can only head the ball at his own front post, but useful at that. Hopefully the proposed new lad doesn't shrink to 5ft whenever a ball is played up to him.
  16. "Rovers stated in their retained list that talks with the player would continue. Since then, nothing has happened." Describe Blackburn Rovers Hierachy in 2 sentences...
  17. Well you're entitled to your opinion. I once got chatting to a lad at the soccerdome who kept telling me Venkys were going to build a 40,000 seater stadium, it might have been you. I've got some cracking magic beans to sell you mate.
  18. I couldn't tell you tbh. I know Khan was in goal and I think Lewis Bell was the 7, Bloxhall 10, but don't know rest and couldn't find a teamsheet.
  19. Told you it had been a few years 🤣 Stuck on 2021 terminology
