  1. Season definitely over now. Last 20 games have been relegation form. It's a good job we have 50+ points. Ismael might not last the season if this continues. Absolutely vile last two matches against relegation donkey teams who we barely troubled

  3. Not sure mate it's in the other side from me. Probably fire certificate and all that, but didn't see other flags removed....
  4. Stoke stewards have just been and removed those anti-venky banners, wonder who tipped them off. Oh and it's 1-0 to the Potters

  6. Spotted in the away end tonight, not seen the Suhail one before 👍
  7. Thought you meant the Gallagher Premiership at first but he would be constantly knocking it on with his flappin'
  8. In fairness to Gally I'm surprised he isn't starting. Scored 2 at the weekend and would surely fancy his chances against our current defence. Harsh he isn't playing, hope he doesn't come on later and prove another point to everyone in the ground.
  9. Main surprise is Forshaw getting nod ahead of Tronstad, is Sondre unfit again? Or does VI think that Forshaw offers more in attack?
  10. Just listened to this on my drive down to Stoke, good episode ⬜🟦🌹
  11. Sanderson has me really worried at centre half, I bet we end up signing him 😂 Other than a few agricultural challenges he has put in which get a cheer from the fans, he looks out of his depth. I get that he was supposed to be substitute/cover but now he's the first choice due to injury and we look very exposed. Other teams will be identifying him and putting him under pressure at every opportunity. Hope he can dig out a performance tonight.
  12. Interesting graphic but as you note I don't think it ultimately shows too much, taken one very specific metric and lot of context missing around it. I'm sure Aynsley works his arse off and is a lovely lad, but watching him over several years, he doesn't pass the eye test for me. He still makes the same howlers regularly that he made very early on e.g. Wigan away where he was at directly at fault for all three goals. All players make mistakes in all games. But when goalies do it it's more heavily scrutinised, that has always been part of the game and is why it's such an important position. Usually when goalies make a mistake it's a one-off in the game and costs one goal. There's been occasions with AP where he has an absolute stinker and costs us multiple goals, think that shows there are issues around confidence and mentality as well as raw ability, maybe it could be coached out of him if we had someone around who knew what they were doing with a young-ish goalie.
  13. Tomorrow is going to be a very spikey/cagey atmosphere I reckon for the home team, tonight's results will have them very nervous and if we can score first and frustrate them the fans might turn on them. Not sure where I got that from, Sam Gallagher to score from 30 yards straight through Pears' hands after 6 minutes 👌
  14. Probably down to our significant investment each January just as the existing squad starts to jade and needs a little extra push to stay there...
  15. Both expected back AFTER the break I believe, Radio Lancs said the same about Kargbo as well, hamstring injury 👎
  16. Eustace has absolutely shithoused us today and the icing on the cake is going to be when Sam Gallagher and Lewis Baker score on Wednesday leaving us 6 adrift of top 6 😂
  17. Came here to say the same 😂💩
  18. Today was an absolute sickener. Stuck having to dwell on it at Uttoxeter services as there is an accident on A50, delightful. Today reminded me of Peterborough away a few years back. Big away following against a team absolutely nailed on for relegation, crunch game which was a must win to keep play-off hopes alive, then we absolutely blew it with a red card and two late goals conceded. Different only to today in that we conceded two early goals against the worst team in the league, still feels the same punch in the gut and the acknowledgement that this was probably it for top six.
  19. In 97 minutes we barely laid a glove on them, despite them being absolutely terrified at 2-1 and just hoofing it anywhere. They didn't need to be. If we start like that against Stoke on Wednesday it will be very similar. Eustace be laughing his head tonight.
  20. We know we were teetering on the playoff edge when Eustace walked but this guy has come in and consolidated our place in championship for next season. He looks like he's made us worse. New manager bounce dunce. We might easily finish in the bottom half at this rate. Can't believe I bought a ticket for today and Stoke, what an idiot
  21. Walking back to car, that was way worse than I expected it to be. I was down the steps and out the concourse right on the whistle but I heard a lot of boos so I'm not sure whether we gave that performance some immediate direct feedback but that was absolutely disgusting as a performance. A team who haven't scored since boxing day at home scoring 2 in the first five minutes. It was truly horrific. You could see how bad Derby were, they'd have struggled against 11 pink cones today but we still didn't trouble them. I can't wait to hear the excuse from Ismael. Dogshit.
  22. Sam Gallagher, what a player 😂 hope he gets a hat trick tonight so that he definitely won't score Weds or for another 6 months

  24. In danger of sounding hysterical again here but the way other results are already going this weekend, we must win today and Wednesday or we've had it IMO. I get all the clichés "long way to go" "anything can happen" but any other team around us would be licking their lips at playing these and Stoke and I'm just fearing the worst. Just arrived in Derby, weather glorious and it's busy already. Once more into the breach and all that 🤞🤞
  25. *4 weeks not months, won't let me edit post.
