I heard he was signing for Hudds ? I think they would suit him better to be honest at his age. “ Time and tide wait for no man. “

I liked the last best ! Could have done with that clip being longer and more time spent on each goal. -
That’s the spirit, if we can win at Leeds and Leicester we can win there.

I though Kompany had fired him ?

That bit where he sends that opponent to buy a pie was brilliant. -

Is Scott training with the England squad ? Is he ever likely to be ? Are Bayern breathing down his neck ? He’s just going to be an average, mid table Prem League player, that’s if he’s lucky. Wharton, the sky is the limit. -

For some reason I was right down near the front. I usually stood in the middle of the terracing. I got a great view of both the goals. -
2024/25 Season Tickets
Tyrone Shoelaces replied to TheRevAshton's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
A large majority of those will have found plenty of more interesting, less stressful, things to do with their time and they wouldn’t come back if you gave them a free season ticket. -

In 99 times of a 100 in cases like this the deciding factor is usually the attitude of the player. They nearly always want out. That’s were the buying club has the selling club over a barrel. In this case we are led to believe, and everything I’ve read backs this up, that the player didn’t actually want to leave. What did the damage was that the Chicken Chokers have made such a balls up of the financial management of the club that they were in a position were they had to give away our No1 player. It doesn’t matter what the fee was because we won’t see any of it. To me they obviously took the first serious offer that came along to put some cash in the till for a month of two. They’ll do they same with Sammi, and we’ll get through for another month or two. What happens then ? I hope they realise that the only option is to sell. I’ll really be getting pissed when the cancer that is the Chicken Chokers is cut out of the body of a Blackburn Rovers. -

He’d be playing for Palace now if we could. -

If Eustace got knocked down by the proverbial No 17 bus I wouldn’t be happy if we signed up Lampard to replace him.

I had a paper round so I could afford it. We won in a canter against Sheff Wed on the previous day. The thing I remember about that one was we got a pen and Fred Pickering took it. Ron Springett in the Wednesday goal had his own technique when facing pens, he stood a yard to the left of centre. He reckoned he was stronger on his right hand side than the left. Fred went for the bigger space on Springett’s right but Springett got across and saved the pen. Why Fred took it and Bryan Douglas didn’t was a mystery. The first goal in the West Brom game the next day was a penalty and Dougie took it and scored. -
