The Chicken Chokers ownership of Blackburn Rovers will only end one way. They are like a cancer on the body of the club. One day they will kill us. It might be next week, it might be next year, it might be in five years. But it’s coming as sure as the sun coming up this morning. Any other option than them owning us is preferable.

He would have been about 5 years ago. Has he got 45 minutes in him these days ? I get the feeling he hasn’t. He came on in the cup game at Ewood last year for the last 30 minutes and got everything in the air. His flick ons caused us endless problems but the team don’t play route one football according to JDT so I can’t see that working for Rovers. If I was Gally I’d be deeply embarrassed that a 35 yr old bloke is a better bet than me. Having said that Gally has a lot to be embarrassed about.

Both of those ( Gilliver and Britt ) were really good players prior to getting injured before we signed them. A bit like Martin Dahlin. The Gilliver signing fiasco led to mandatory fitness tests for football league players. We even got some money back as a result of the case.

The new Jim Fryatt ? Or is it the new Frank Lord ?

I’d consider starting with Garrett instead of A Wharton. Bring Wharton later when things have settled down.

I gave it all up when they appointed Coyle. I knew then we would be relegated. I stopped watching us completely, gave up this site etc. The only thing I did was look at the scores at 4-55 pm on Saturday that was it. I did nothing else regarding football and Rovers inspite of being a fanatic since I was about 12. I felt miles better for it.

Me too, but he’ll have offers from normal clubs.

I don’t think he likes the physical contact that jumping with close marking opponents involves. He can jump fine if he’s not opposed. Maybe he wants to maintain his “ good looks “. Regarding the rest of his game - he doesn’t sense opportunities , he doesn’t gamble on defensive errors or ‘Keeper slip ups, and he’s nearly always on his heels when the ball does arrive.

If you had to use just one word to some up almost everything the Chicken Chokers have done in the 13 years they’ve been here it would be. - Why ?
