I just looked in my “ Wisden “ for 1962 Jim. The 1961 season Aussie tourists played Worcestershire ( the traditional opening game “ ) on April the 29th and May 1st and 2nd. They then played Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Surrey, Cambridge Uni, Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, The MCC, Oxford Uni, Sussex. All theoretically three day, two innings games. After that they played England in the first Test on June 8th. All the main batsmen had made hundreds by then, some had made two or more.
