I don't think Walton is amazing, I don't think he's a downgrade on Raya though. In fact he definitely isn't it's just typical of our fans. You simply do not get an amazing goalkeeper for the type of fees we can look to pay, hence only 2 rival keepers have more clean sheets (1 plays behind a far better back line for Leeds too). It's just unfortunate that mistakes by goalkeepers ultimately often lead to goals, but the reality is theres mistakes all over the damn park right now.

Bit pathetic how some people are making out Walton is SO bad yet Raya dropped clangers constantly in his career which have suddenly been erased from folks memory. Worrying thing with a number of Mowbray signings is that they make backwards progress under him. I actually don't think he's signed that many duds, he just plays them out of position most of the time. Theres a few in the current squad that can most certainly improve under someone else.

We went there last season in half decent form, think we'd only lost 1 in 6 so were fairly optimistic, and still got pasted. We've got the biggest injury list in the championship as it stands, is it all bad luck or some shite training methods? I think 4 of the 7 are knee injuries so there's a bit of a pattern. Next highest is our opponents on Tuesday night with 5, rather annoyingly Preston have 0 as it stands which perhaps plays a part in their league position but obviously not the sole factor.
