  1. The Eredivisie is often quite intense and to be honest downright bloody dirty particularly in midfield. To have played for Vitesse, it suggests he definitely has something about him and pretty sure he won't shy away from a tackle. A slight shift away from the nicey nice boy attitude instilled by Mowbray maybe? If so I'm all for it!
  2. The away end at Bristol City practically has a food court at the back. I don't really eat at games but it looked decent grub too, certainly not Sodexo shite.
  3. Unless im misunderstanding, Blackpool haven't sold 8k, where are these figures from? Last update was about 2k.
  4. Bit of an odd choice, I mean they've had a good season but it's certainly not marquee by any standards 😕
  5. Less than 2k sold for Blackpool so far, we're not quite that bad yet 😵‍💫
  6. Decent enough friendly that, will likely make the trip 👍
  7. He'll be hoping we get Sheff Weds and Leeds at home in August, both will bring big old followings and he will report an increase in average attendance at the end of the month 🤣
  8. Completely unrelated to us but I was reading something odd earlier about Bournemouth fans having to paying extra 14 quid on top of renewal prices to get 2 tickets to watch their women's team? As for as I could tell it was compulsory unless I've misunderstood, their own fans seemed a bit unsure too.
  9. Presuming wrong then I would have thought, Preston wouldn't be crowing about them figures on the club website.
  10. I believe that to be honest. Morton will have been a nice boy in training, work hard and help put the cones away after. Maybe Wharton was a bit lazy? Not saying I agree with Morton playing over Adam by the way, JDT clearly monitors players in training closely though and it influences team selection.
  11. Dutch media reporting Slot is STAYING put
  12. Preston fan at work reckons they'll be nowhere near last seasons sales despite the price, ungrateful swines.
  13. No you're right on both parts though 👍
  14. Remember it well the Leeds scum with the Revie chants. I was a young boy then and even then I was like wtf are they doing. My other memory of Leeds is how fucking huge Tony Yeboahs legs were, he pinged some absolute thunderbolts in with them too.
  15. Just to put an alternate slant on this story from Nixon.... Led to believe JDT and family have bought a house over here and his missus is opening a shop.....
  16. Slot would 100% take a prem job and JDT 100% the Feyenoord job. No exclusive from Nixon regardless, its already been said on here....
  17. They are showing interest, they had all the family round watching the Millwall game on TV according to Greg 🤣 Swag loves a good opportunity to make some extra cash, how about a Q&A with none other than our owners? Tickets would fly off the shelves I assume. Put on some overpriced spud pie and peas and you're onto a winner. Just do it when it's not snowing.
  18. What a game that was. Just me or was the Posh keeper absolutely garbage too? A few of those goals I was just like wtf is he doing.
  19. Just have to hope Spurs look elsewhere than Arne Slot... Feyenoord would be the ideal job for JDT I'm afraid for personal and career reasons, that's if they feel his CV is worthy at this present time, I imagine they would do.
  20. Didn't he recently buy a house up north though? He should definitely get championship offers, and if he does I'm putting my house on him scoring when we play said team! Providing he stays fit you just know he's gonna score goals for a team who's playing style suits him....
  21. Very sad news, no room for sentiment though in sport 😢 Ultimately it COULD be the right decision if the wages are spent wisely and goal scorers are incoming. Likewise it could be a disaster, as of yesterday Dack was probably our best goal scorer 🤯 Suppose I'll reserve judgement, for now
  22. I'll be following with interest to be honest how he gets on at his new club, not sure why there'd be a need to close it.
  23. Its just an idea, I know it'll never happen. But I'm interested to know why Chaddy thinks it's so ludicrous given that the actual benefits from being a season ticket holder diminish every season. Christ you even needed 1875 club on top to easily secure a Burnley away ticket last season, or face a mad scramble in the next phase.
