  1. Will Nonda be fit...touch and go? This fixture seems so much more difficult now.
  2. I'm having similar thoughts to be honest, seems out of sorts....rise above it Benni we need you now fella!
  3. Because we lack the quality in midfield to privide the killer pass to our static, ball to feet strikers Somerset. The long ball crap we witnessed today does not suit McCarthy's style one iota. Roberts broken foot....FFS!
  4. If anyone is daft enough to believe we can sustain both a Uefa cup challenge and a good Premiership campaign with this painfully paper thin squad then they are living in cloud cuckoo land.We have neither the quality nor strength in depth and today it came home to roost for all to see against the bottom side....like Roverite says its going to be a very difficult November, the injury crisis is very worrying indeed. Aimless crosses to nobody and hopeless long balls will see more embarrassing defeats like this. For sure,If one club has the Voodoo sign over us its ferkin West Ham at Upton park.
  5. Woeful first half.......its just injury after injury after injury at the moment.
  6. I think your spot on there about Burnley Blue phil, working in the place gives you a better idea of the problems they face...very similar to ours in all honesty. From comments made most Clarrots can only look on in envy of Rovers and their cheap tickets, they cannot afford to do it at Turd moor to often as according to agent Edmundson they need 16,000 at full price just to break even.....a local, top of the table derby clash(albeit on sky)against Preston only sees 11,500 home fans make the effort! Whether you like it or not East Lancashire is a very financially depressed area at the moment and football appears to be well down on the priority list
  7. Sod the British Eurosport coverage and be there in person on the night if you can,at these prices there should be a decent gate on the night. We could be looking at winning this game to qualify through!
  8. Rovers 2 Basel 0 Benni Mac 2 Att: 19,400 'disgusting but surprisingly everyone blamed the ticket prices'........
  9. Never been a good ground for Rovers to visit and they really need to win this one.....you just know whats going to happen. 1-0 Neill og
  10. The shirt itself does look genuine but its the 'Simon Garner match worn' provanence thats the sticky point. You dont see many old Umbro Rovers shirts from that era around to be honest. Mmmmmmmmmm
  11. Christ!, 26 years ago we had a good kit supplier in Umbro, the red rose badge and no sponsor on the blue and white...... a classic
  12. 14,000+ to see the Champions at £15 + £5,a worthwhile venture for the club?...they must have 'made' a MASSIVE financial loss tonight.
  13. Not bothered about the result but we could have done without the injuries.
  14. If we go out of this competition on Wednreday quite frankly its no skin off my back. Then again the last thing we need is Hughes fielding a massivley under strength squad and us being tonked 5-0,that really wouldn't do confidence any good especially after Sunday!!!
  15. Rovers played better than I thought they would,we will play worse than that and come away with 3 pionts.Just one of those games that happens now and again.....frustrating beyond belief. In 25 years of watching Rovers I cant recall us having 2 penaltys saved within minutes of each other
  16. Expected crowd as of yesterday according to Lee is 25,000 including 6,000 from Bolton.
  17. The screenshots look amazing for the new game, improved shot selections(batsman will be able to move down his pitch) and bowling will make this THE best cricket game ever.I've spent far too much time than is healthy playing the 2005 version! Demo and full game due March 2007
  18. To be honest, I do believe the motivation and will is there for Dunn to return to Rovers but like many have questioned his fitness remains a major, major doubt.
  19. Why do Bolton (for a club thats won nowt for donkeys years) have some of the most arrogant, loud mouthed toss pot supporters I have ever had the misfortune to come across?.I always thought their traditional rivals were the mighty Bury.
  20. How many have we sold Lee?......surely we can shift 22,000 home tickets at £15 for this game cant we Tickets still availiable in Blackburn End lower NO4 this morning....never a good sign. ** big sigh**
  21. I find the Bolton media excitement over them taking over 5,000 to Ewood rather comical to be honest..you would have thought its never happened before! A tired Rovers scrape a 1-1 draw.......Nonda 26,500
  22. Bolton have now sold all 5,500 tickets and Rovers have put the other top half of the Darwen end for sale on the day...looks like a 7,000 following behind them.
  23. Ahhh Mr Scholes...one bitter Claret indeed, and one who admitts to watching Rovers too!
  24. You can call Savage for his lack of skill all you want but this fella makes up for that with work rate and enthusiasm....100%er with a great attitude. Are you listening Toshack?
  25. Time and time again this happens with Eastern European clubs, and the outcome? Benni lost his rag at the end by all accounts....set to overshadow a fine win RAISE THE ROOF FOR THE LAD COME SUNDAY
