7,000+ walk ons v Salzburg DMF for a night match......where there even half that number today?

After 4 home games to date,of which 3 were against local North West opposition, I'm afraid to say that this seasons pricing policy of A+ and A games has been an absolute disaster.....todays attendance v Wigan is some 2,500 down on last season even though we are playing some great football!!!! More Rovers fans were in attendance v Salzburg(£15) than any of the above league games...if that does not tell Rovers board something it never will.

Capacity of those three stands is roughly 22,500...more than enough at present for our support.

Lets hope Rovers keep the same pricing policy for the other European games...7,000+ 'walk-ons' was a fair response.I have a feeling though that if we pull a real name like Ajax or Rangers it could well be normal matchday costs,then again,I'd be more than happy to pay top whack to see those clubs at Ewood.

Thats a depressing thought gumboots,these kids are the future of the club, but I'm sure that for every Utd or Liverpool shirt there'll be 10 blue 'n' white ones.......20 years ago it was the other way round.

Still on a high....the possibility of a Rovers playing some of the big European sides like Ajax is a truly mouthwatering prospect indeed.

I do believe season ticket holders will be counted in the final attendance even if they do not attend tonight.

For those who live in Blackburn and surrounding areas and are thinking of watching the game on tv dont.......support the lads in person and help the club achieve its goal.No point in falling out but if you can MAKE THE EFFORT! I have a feeling the atmosphere will be special tonight.

We never have been and never will be a 'big club' Theno.....but boy oh boy haven't we done well being our little old selves!

Agree SAS, the Uefa cup has priority over the League cup for me also. The chance to play the likes of Ajax, PSG, Feyenoord, Marseilles,Rangers and Fenerbache to name just a few at Ewood is a mouth watering prospect indeed.

My posts are clearly aimed at the 'lets all watch football and spend our coin in the pub brigade' Cletus....never aimed at individual boardmembers,I understand there are many people who genuinely cant afford it. As for the I'm holier than thou bit.............. give over eh!
