Souness was a damn sight more successful at Rovers than Hughes FLB and the silverware to show for it.....gave many some great memories. The nearly men...an epitaph of the Hughes tenure?

Seen a video clip of the game and to say the crowd was 22,000+ the Riverside looked remarkably empty....the ground looks nowhere near as full as I remember it!

Is it just me or is anyone else strangely 'apathetic' about losing Hughes today? He was not a bad manager for us but we have had more successful ones recently who brought silverware to the club.

I also have to agree with others that if Hughes does not leave now it puts him in a very difficult position with everyone at Ewood. You've played your hand well here Hughes just at the right time
