  1. Rovers 2 Boro 0 bellamy Dickov. Att : 18,500...............no cheap tickets.
  2. The gate was artificially swelled by about 2,000(maybe double that!)kids paying £1....if you cant see that there aint much hope! Nowt against that but lets see if they pester their parents to come back and pay full price v Boro...then we can say it has been successful.
  3. Good crowd?...sorry but I dont agree. Take away the 1,500? from Villa and the give away tickets at £1 and there wasn't much responce to be honest to Hughes call for more support from the Blackburn public,we still managed to barely scrape 20K! Lets see what the crowd is against Boro.........................mmmmmmmmm
  4. Won 2-0 and played average at best. 5th in the Prem and I cant stop smiling.......this has been a very good season so far!
  5. Thinking about giving your 'support' to Rovers this afternoon behind a pint glass in the local? ............... HUGHES : ROAR US INTO EUROPE!!!!
  6. Like it or not we picked up quite a few fair weather fans when we were champions but now they have long gone our support is probably reaching its 'natural' level.
  7. Rovers to edge it 2-1 in a close encounter of the dirty Claret 'n' blue kind! Bellamy 2 Att : 19,500
  8. Some of you are being unrealistically greedy....champions league was a VERY long shot at best.
  9. You win some......you lose some.
  10. I'm Listening to the game on radio 5 live and all the comments are predictably the same......poor crowds with un-passionate support, 'unfashionable club'. Same old.
  11. JUST GIVE IT YOUR ALL LADS!! Spurs 1 Rovers 2
  12. No chance Philipl, the season after we won the prem only saw us with an average of some 27,000.....the club has only ever averaged over 30,000 once in its entire history!
  13. May I be so bold as to alter your statement Alan75,this may be more appropriate in the not so distant future.............. ''Things may change, but lets look at the positives the trust have backed the club through recent bad times, now its up to us. Lets enjoy it. Get my drift?
  14. Catch 22,I fear the club is in a no win situation, even if they lower the prices there is NO guarantee the Blackburn public will respond.......that will only further the clubs financial losses and ability to compete with clubs on a similar level like Bolton, fulham,Charlton.
  15. We're complicating matters here..........I will hazard a guess and say the vast majority of Rovers fans just want to sing songs and create their OWN atmosphere without the need for flurkin drums,Klaxons, trumpets or 'owt else!!! Fair play to the drummers, they have tried their best, but its time for them to move on. Its as simple as that really.......ARE YOU LISTENING MR WILLIAMS?
  16. ....the sky then darkened over and the town of Blackburn was swallowed by the earth. FOOKIN 'ELL THENO LETS ENJOY THE GOOD TIMES EH!
  17. Who appointed 'drummer boys from hell' without asking the fans their opinions first?
  18. Spot on Phil. Its just not funny folks...to see a grown man jumping around like a 10 year old banging a drum is NOT RIGHT I TELLS THEE!!!!!!!!
  19. But they clearly dont waggy....................
  20. Much ado about nothing, their imminent promotion WILL NOT affect our gates to any vast extent. Stanley managed a gate of 1,900 yesterday, wonder why it was down so much from the 3,000 midweek................... Waggles,Rovers fans will not abandon Ewood for the interlink express stadium....get a grip fella!! Burnley is another matter though!! GOOD LUCK 'OWD REDS!
  21. Little old Rovers 5th in the Premierleague,a town club taking on the big city boys and beating them at home with entertaining football.I cant vouch for others but I have a strong feeling of pride in my club at the moment, the town of Blackburn should be buzzing. What more can the club do if we dont see home sections filled against Villa? Why dont these 'fans' who frequent the likes of the Royal oak and the town centre shyte holes show their support at the ground? Come down against Villa and bring the kids, bring the neighbours kids and lets see if the lads in blue 'n' white can re-light your fire. P.S. Cant afford a ticket?....@#/?! you can afford to shovel f'kin ale down your throats though eh!
  22. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: "I'm very sad because I don't think we deserved to lose this game. "For maybe five or six minutes in the first half we suffered a little bit, but overall we were always on top of the game but we couldn't score. GET THE F**K OUT WENGER YOU 'ORRIBLE UNGRACIOUS GIT!!!!
  23. Villa home...... kids for £1 should see a bigger than normal gate. We stand 5th in the Premierleague.......the Blackburn public must respond now.
  24. Short and sweet.......... This is really superb...better than I could have imagined!!
