Completely agree with this, and feel like it's been like this for a while.

To be fair, we have been for the last 9 years. I like to think my £400 (adult & child) goes towards some of the great staff who work on the ground floor rather than in venkys pocket or to any of the millionaires on the pitch. Only way I can justify it really.

Lenihan. Mowbray will pick Bennett.
-
No way is Cunningham playing. Probably spend the next two weeks "learning how we play", then he misses the Cardiff game anyway, then TM will probably think "well we only have one more game before international break anyway might aswell give him another couple of weeks for his education" First league start - Saturday Sept 14th vs Milwall. (Possible league cup appearance v Oldham too)

What is it the kids say nowadays? Oh yeah "lol"

Mowbray bleats on about how hard it is to sign players because clubs want replacements lined up first, yet he happily let's Raya & Mulgrew go without having any sort of plan to replace them. Always think Mowbray has done ok here, apart from keeping us up in 2017 (which would be very harsh to pin on him anyway) he has met each expectation so far. The more time goes on though the more baffling I find him. That interview yesterday also showed me that he isn't far from snapping and turning on the fans.
-
Yeah, no way is TM ruthless enough to just get shut of anyone.
-
It doesn't, it says two deals are expected to go through. One is Cunningham coming in, the other is Mulgrew departing
-
Surely Tosin will play now. No matter what Mowbray said, we will have agreed to so many games for him to play, so at a guess Mulgrew knew it was his place he would be taking. Williams now first back up.
-
I bet he's straight into there side too, in his real position. None of this waiting around for 3 months to "learn how the lads play"
-
Don't be expecting a centre half. Mulgrew is probably going so Cunningham can come in.
-
Was always under the impression that permanent or loans have to be done by 5pm.
-
Still might not be signing anybody yet...
-
Thought this interview with Mowbray was interesting from today. Seems like he's going to snap sooner or later... https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/transfer-news/tony-mowbrays-message-supporters-everything-16720353

Has to be better than Bennett there surely? It could also mean that Williams is going in a left back, with Tosin partnering Lenihan, whilst Bennett keeps his place at right back. One of Bennett or Mulgrew is playing, whatever happens.
-
Smallwood & Samuel I could see leaving on loan to league one before the end of the month. Nobody is paying cash for them today though, why would they? And as for Evans, we'll be stuck with him until the end of time.
-
Cunningham and Hanley in, would certainly see us with an improved team on paper. I do get the feeling though, that no matter who plays back there we will still concede a shed load of goals. That side on Saturday looked so unorganised it was scary. Hopefully better players in them positions will help that, I just have my doubts.
-
Doesn't matter who we sign today, they won't play until October anyway.
-
Yes, no more "neutral end".
-
We're good at every age group apart from the first team. What does that tell you?
-
Just be the usual pre match press conference wont it? They always hold them on the Thursday before the game. On transfer business he will just state "if something comes up, we'll look at it, if not we're fine with that too" Don't expect anything groundbreaking from him.
-
I'm going to put two and two together and say Hanley isn't happening then?
-
Great effort then, looking forward to the atmosphere if not the game ?

I'm wondering if we have sent some back, say 700 or so? Can't quite fathom that we will have sold that allocation in London at £30 a throw. Only reason i'm thinking that is we had a 2500 allocation for Leeds on boxing day, a few days before the game Rovers were tweeting that there were only a few tickets left, they just forgot to mention that we sent 1500 back...

Jacob Murphy is going to Sheffield Wednesday, we were never interested.
