Still got another year on his contract at Forest and on huge wages. No chance at all he will be joining here on a permanent. -
Already been announced by the EFL that the Championship last day will all kick off at 12:30, Rovers haven't bothered to let anyone know yet though. https://www.efl.com/news/2025/february/27/sky-bet-efl-play-off-dates-confirmed/

I get the frustration of fixture moves, absolute pain in the arse for me on a Friday. What I can't get my head around though, is why, in 2025 are people still booking trains and hotels for games months away when that weekends TV games haven't been selected yet? That's not aimed at anyone on here just what I read on various clubs social media pages when a game is moved. Also, this is all on the clubs for accepting a ridiculous new TV deal for a few extra quid, Sky have paid there money and are well within there right to move games to whenever they want.

By the time that happens the season will be long over. A complete waste of a signing, as predicted at the time. -

We did! I had it in my head that we went behind there twice for some reason. -

In the league we have won every game we have taken the lead in apart from Sunderland on boxing day. -

No, and it never has been under this ownership. The only ambition is to keep cutting costs, and getting a side out on the pitch as cheaply as possible. That's why new contract talk always makes me laugh, not a chance the likes of Riberio, Brittain, Travis, Tronstad, Hyam etc will be getting offers of improved terms when we can get cheaper options in to replace them all. Sure the results on the pitch won't be as good as this season, but as long as we're bubbling around between 20th-12th nobody cares. -

From what I can see we have gone behind in 19 games this season. That's ended up in 1 win, 5 draws and 13 defeats. Somehow better than recent seasons, but still poor if you want to be at the top end of a league. -
He will get a good move if so Beck. Maybe a side coming down from the prem. Another good full season in the Champ and then ready for a go in the top flight.

Weirdly this has actually been one of our better seasons for that in recent years. Still only 8 Points won from going behind though so far. -
I bet there isn't.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

Tell you what would have happened, moving down South wouldn't have even been considered during that scenario. -

What do you think they would have done if Liverpool had come in for him that January/Summer as well as Bournemouth? -

Yet they are back up north a couple of years later. It's nonsense Chaddy. -

Book the holiday. -
We don't beat sides who have just been promoted away from home, in fact we don't even draw against them. So those two games can be written off straight away. 10 in a row lost, with our last point against one coming on the 1st May 2021.
-
Won't even be on the clubs radar. We'll be actively seeking a cheaper option already.

For what it's worth, I believe they will only ever send funds over as a last resort to stop anything like administration happening. Right now they don't need to do it, so don't. They will never go above and beyond to fund transfers or contract extensions again but to stop the club going into admin and losing power? They will always send the bare minimum to ensure that never happens IMO. And of course that means that sooner rather than later we'll fall through the leagues. -
We have won 4 out of our last 15, we aren't suddenly going to win 4 in a row! 4 points at best from them games.
-
I'd be surprised if Cantwell wasn't our highest earner!

We have also lost our last 10 away games against newly promoted sides. -
Dack with two knackered ACL's is faster than Cantwell is.
