  1. Shouldn't come as a surprise, but it looks like we haven't struck a reciprocal deal with Leeds over ticket prices like most other clubs have. We're charging them the full £30, which means we'll be paying £47 there. https://www.leedsunited.com/news/ticketing/32416/tickets-blackburn-rovers-a
  2. The players are performing and they also put in a hell of a shift. However, it's a small, weak and inexperienced bunch who when coming up against a team of well drilled experienced journeymen will probably lose out most of the time. I said we were a spineless bunch last night in the heat of the moment and that was harsh, I'm just disappointed with our home form more than anything, 5 defeats in 8 isn't good despite all the eye pleasing football on offer.
  3. The winner was nowhere near offside by the way... https://twitter.com/AwayDays_/status/1723237241672073503?s=19
  4. Amazing how people see different games. What I saw was a pretty spineless showing from Rovers again at Ewood. Easy to defend against, and can't deal with fairly simple balls in the box. Give me Prestons big, strong, physical, direct side over our bunch of spineless midget weaklings any day.
  5. We have no guarantee or right to the sell on money for Raya, it was always a huge bonus. The prem clubs can do as they please.
  6. Judging by that document none of it will be for the transfer window.
  7. I'd be tempted to go for 3 real midfielders in this game. Leo Brittain Hill Wharton Pickering Travis Tronstad Wharton Szmodics Dolan Moran
  8. It's a while off yet but it's being changed from the 26-27 season. One international break in late September that covers 2 weekends instead of 1 where there will be 4 internationals, and then the standard ones in November and March that cover the usual 1 weekend and 2 internationals. So not much better really.
  9. We have lost 4 out of 7 at home. Fortress Ewood has deserted us.
  10. Excellent performance against a really poor team, but take any win that comes. Friday concerns me though with the amount we have out.
  11. Leo in goal and a potential back 4 of Trav, Hill, Pickering and Brittain suggests Preston will have there usual free reign over Ewood and sail to a comfortable win. We're also not very good at Ewood this season. Rovers 0 Nobbers 2
  12. Carter suspended for this so i imagine it will be Hill/Wharton at the back with Brittain or JRC slotting into right back. A.Wharton has to play now he has had a little break.
  13. Plus there is prize money on offer in the cup. In the league it doesn't matter whether you finish 7th or 17th, there is no financial gain. With the state the club is in you would think that any cup games would be a priority.
  14. Could Szmodic be moved out to cover Sigurdsson and bring Wharton into the midfield?
  15. I think more and more in the modern game, players are terrified of trying something with there weaker foot, like a through ball or a knock down the line in fear of giving possession away. It's like its drilled into them now just to recycle the ball at every opportunity and play safe with there stronger foot than try something ambitious and give it away with your weaker.
  16. You get the choice there to have the whole Shed End for cup games, like Wimbledon and Brighton did in the last two rounds. Chelsea put an article up on there website that I linked earlier in the thread stating that we had decided not to take the whole end.
  17. JDT has already said Leonard won't be involved. I imagine we will start as we did against QPR.
  18. I think that's what the club want you to believe, but it's actually not true... Saturday 23rd February 2013 - 3pm - Rovers 0 Leeds 0 Saturday 30th November 2013 - 3pm - Rovers 1 Leeds 0 Saturday 22nd November 2014 - 3pm - Rovers 2 Leeds 1 Saturday 20th March 2016 - 1230pm - Rovers 1 Leeds 2 Wednesday 1st February 2017 - 1945pm - Rovers 1 Leeds 2 Saturday 20th October 2018 - 12pm - Rovers 2 Leeds 1 Friday 3rd April 2020 - 8pm - Rovers/Leeds was scheduled for Sky but obviously postponed due to covid. So twice in the last 7 meetings it's moved, it's complete nonsense.
  19. Couldn't get any more as Chelsea had already started selling them in the Shed End next to the Rovers fans. We stated to Chelsea at the beginning that we didn't want any more than 3k.
  20. I'm also guessing that we haven't reached a reciprocal agreement with Leeds about ticket prices so we'll be paying £47 when we go there in April.
  21. Leeds game bought forward on "police advice" https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2023/october/19/lunchtime-kick-off-for-leeds-match/ Why is this starting to happen again? Had plenty of home 3pm games against Leeds since we came down in 2012.
  22. Not sure he's going to have much to work with unfortunately.
  23. Really dislike this lazy narrative. At Ewood the fans were brilliant with him, the odd sigh or moan when he misplaced a pass for the umpteenth time like they would with anyone but on the whole he couldn't have asked for a more supportive home crowd.
