  1. I think he gets away with it quite lightly to be honest. 2 points adrift with 15 games to go when he was appointed, and got us out of the bottom 3 twice before allowing us to slip back in there and eventually go down. All we had to do was beat the mighty Burton Albion in his first game and match there results thereafter. Despite the high points total, he failed. He was bought in to keep us up, not to get us out of league one 18 months after appointed.
  2. Maybe. Or more likely you get a slightly different set of answers if its being recorded to put a positive spin on things.
  3. I read through this and genuinely wonder if anyone here has watched/followed Rovers before. It was the most obvious result of the day.
  4. More likely they will be £400 but pay £500 for that privilege.
  5. Was there a consultation when they closed the Darwen End for home fans? Or when they relocated the family stand from the BBE upper to the JW stand? Or did they just go and do it?
  6. Ring the ticket office and buy them over the phone. They will sort them out to collect at Hillsborough tomorrow. You have just under 2 hours as they go off sale at 2pm!
  7. Wednesday will be up for it after there last minute goal last night, and they are due another win. We'll lose this 2-0 and come crashing back down to earth.
  8. Do you think it will be closed in the not to distant future? Surely Waggott would jump at the chance? On the safe standing, such a shame that venkys have decimated out fanbase so badly, Darwen End lower would have been ideal for it, half home and half away fans like the good old days. Atmosphere would have been superb.
  9. He does. Hence why I said it's a one year extension to his current deal.
  10. It's a one year extension to his current deal, on I presume a better salary.
  11. 20k home fans would be an incredible achievement for this. Lets hope it happens.
  12. Nice to see some sort of survey and consideration for this. Do we honestly believe that this will happen under Waggott/Venkys though? I would be amazed if it did.
  13. They have 7 different category's for ticket prices. They charged Milwall £27 recently and are charging Leicester £30 on Wednesday. I don't believe for a second we have agreed a "reciprocal" deal with them.
  14. 20% off Home kit and training wear today... https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2023/november/27/cyber-monday---20--off-training-wear-and-home-kit-/
  15. Of course Rovers social media is full of folk praising the decision. It was £20 there last season too so I doubt much of a deal had to be done here.
  16. 5 clean sheets in a row for Stoke. We miss a shed load of chances. See this being similar to Preston, to much strength, physicality, pace and experience for our lot. Stoke 2 Rovers 0
  17. Shouldn't come as a surprise, but it looks like we haven't struck a reciprocal deal with Leeds over ticket prices like most other clubs have. We're charging them the full £30, which means we'll be paying £47 there. https://www.leedsunited.com/news/ticketing/32416/tickets-blackburn-rovers-a
  18. The players are performing and they also put in a hell of a shift. However, it's a small, weak and inexperienced bunch who when coming up against a team of well drilled experienced journeymen will probably lose out most of the time. I said we were a spineless bunch last night in the heat of the moment and that was harsh, I'm just disappointed with our home form more than anything, 5 defeats in 8 isn't good despite all the eye pleasing football on offer.
  19. The winner was nowhere near offside by the way... https://twitter.com/AwayDays_/status/1723237241672073503?s=19
