  1. Waggot isn't retiring any time soon. Why would he? Easiest gig in football.
  2. Is the next Fans Forum meeting still this week?
  3. In the real world and normal everyday life yes. I think a football manager will be OK for a while though if he's unemployed for a bit.
  4. After bringing in £40m in the past 18 months? Probably not to be fair.
  5. Absolutely no chance. Be dressed up as family reasons.
  6. He might do short term, to get himself in the spotlight of the English game.
  7. Playing the long game, he probably thinks he has more chance achieving promotion with Derby than here.
  8. Not every approach for anyone in world football has to be "announced" you know.
  9. Pears, Toth, Brittain, Carter, Hyam, Wharton, Pickering, JRC, Travis, Tronstad, Buckley, Hedges, Kargbo, Cantwell, Ohashi & Gueye will be our senior players next season. Plus Markandey, Vale, Garrett & Leonard will all have to be registered next season. Out of all those, 7 will be out of contract in the summer of 2026. Shambles.
  10. If he goes I don't see Gerrard or Rooney at all with the amount of publicity them pair bring. This lot will want to go under the radar as much as possible. More likely someone like Russell Martin.
  11. Worth the question though if you are Derby owner, no? Short term it's a massive risk for Eustace to think about taking that job over staying here, for that reason I think he stays even if there is an approach. Long term though, no brainer to bugger off somewhere where he might get a bit of communication to what's going on at his place of work.
  12. So you wouldn't be targeting Eustace if you were in charge of Derby?
  13. Warne is a superb league one manager, just never really cut it at this level.
  14. Only really works if they manage to get him out of the door. The player could just sit on his contract and try his luck fresh in the summer instead of rushing into something now.
  15. No that's incorrect, we can still sell him for a fee. Not that I expect we will though. If he's to leave I expect it will be a loan until the end of his contract.
  16. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/february/07/squad-list-confirmed-for-the-remainder-of-2024-25/ Sigurdsson confirmed as the man to miss out.
  17. To be fair we only kept 1 in the last 7 before he got injured. Hoping this game springs up a "result when you least expect it" game.
  18. Yeah absolutely. When a Rovers game is moved to a Sunday I always give him the choice. Only time he has decided to go and watch was the FA Cup Quarter Final against Sheffield Utd the other season, every other time he's chosen to play. Like you say you can't beat it.
  19. Sunday 12/1230 is the worst kick off time there is. Not surprised the ticket sales are really slow. My lad plays Sunday mornings so this is a no-go, I imagine there must be hundreds of parents/kids in the same boat with grassroots football on a Sunday morning.
  20. Correct it was £30 off, giving them too much credit there!
  21. Seemed to be when the Ewood fan takeover day against Watford was happening, or when the £50 discount on ST's was being fairly well received.
  22. Makes you wonder if Ohashi is going to be the one omitted from the 25 man squad. Would probably make sense with us bringing in two strikers, and the fact he has been playing football non stop since February 2024. Would allow him to go get over his injury, spend some time at home, have a complete rest and reset, and come back strong and fresh in pre season.
  23. One thing that always gets me, is that when we are defending a 1 goal lead in injury time our box is always getting absolutely peppered and our lads are usually defending for there lives. Yet when we need a goal in injury time we can't get anywhere near the opposition box. We haven't scored an added time equaliser or winner in front of fans since before covid. (Batth at Leeds was smack on 90 mins)
  24. Be amazed if it's not Sigurdsson. We have Kargbo, Dolan, Hedges, ACD, Weimann, Cantwell, Woodrow, Dennis, Ohashi, Gueye & Leonard for the four forward positions now. Should something happen to Beck or Riberio around April time Pickering could become a crucial squad member again.
