  1. https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-brereton-contract-update-20868998 The above is from 2 years ago, i think it was just speculation though as he stock rose and someone realised he was out of contract.
  2. More than we will get for him this summer.
  3. This seems to be the case a lot I feel. Those most vocal in support of venkys either live hundreds of miles away or have no connection to the town of Blackburn its self.
  4. I'll be honest I have thought about it. Take the rest of the season for instance, highly likely I will miss 3 of the last 4 home games now. A Saturday night 745 game is beyond ridiculous. I know I will renew though deep down. The only season since promotion way back in 1992 I haven't renewed was the season where Coyle was appointed as I genuinely thought somebody was taking the piss out of me, and like the fool i am i think i actually spent more on match day tickets that season than the cost of the ST as i still couldn't shake the habit despite not having one. End of the day, I like my seat in the riverside and I like the crowd around me, my lad is still obsessed with everything Rovers, and while I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford it its just the easy option. I can certainly see why plenty wouldn't bother though.
  5. Not sure what research Rich does. Could tell in 5 minutes it wasn't correct. Anyway, completely agree about the whole mentality of the club.
  6. Completely forgettable as most were during Covid, but it's actually 8 times since 2018 we have come from behind to win, still pathetic but a little bit better than 2. Rovers 2 Sheff Wed 1 - 19-20 Rovers 3 Bristol City 1 - 19-20 (covid) Cardiff 2 Rovers 3 - 19-20 (covid) Rovers 2 Rotherham 1 - 20-21 (covid) Rovers 2 Derby 1 - 20-21 (covid) Rovers 5 Birmingham 2 - 20-21 (covid) Rovers 3 Sheffield Utd 1 - 21-22 Rovers 3 Derby 1 - 21-22
  7. 2-0 Huddersfield. Most comfortable game they will have all season, we will manage our first shot in the 85th minute.
  8. If they get the first goal it's game over. Have to score first to have any chance.
  9. Only 300 tickets left. Sweating to see if they sell out to decide if we deserve the play offs or not.
  10. This is exactly what happened last season, they did a final five bundle for £99, but if you bought the last 5 games individually they would have cost you £90. Can see the same happening again this season if the Luton game is a crucial one. Final Five this season - £99 Individually - Norwich £20, Hull £15, Burnley £30, Coventry £20, Luton £? (£25 at the minute but who knows if we need a result)
  11. At £30 for the cheapest ticket, midweek, and on the TV? Not a chance.
  12. Unless he has bought the final 5 offer of course. Which makes him even more of a berk.
  13. Considering Heskey was only 16 at the time we definitely would have still signed Sutton. Heskey would have been in view to replacing either one of the SAS in a few years if they moved on.
  14. Definitely the FA Cup Semi in 2007 for me. Seen most things you could hope to see as a fan live - Play Off Final and winners Premier League Title League Cup win 2 Promotions European football An FA Cup final just finishes the list,.
  15. £379 until May 7th £429 May 7th-May 26th What are they going to be after May 26th? It's better than I expected to be fair, not the needle mover that was needed though. Not sure a "haha omg you are so wrong like all the others 😂😂😂" was needed though for the sake of £20. Had it been £100, fair enough!
  16. It'll be close if it doesn't sell out. Not having that we don't deserve a team fighting for the play offs if we don't though.
  17. The best we'll see is a price freeze of this seasons prices I think. Which will still mean a £30 increase for anyone who is a holder from before this season.
  18. I've just done the quick maths. Based on a £399 season ticket, (presuming the Luton match on the 29th April stays at Category B prices) if you had purchased every game separately this season in the Blackburn End it would have cost you £523.75. Obviously more for JW Upper wings/Centre etc.
  19. Fantastic memories of the Blackburn End like that. Always looked at it from the Nuttall Street thinking it looked incredible as a kid to be in there but my mum wouldn't let me go in there as I was "too young" haha. Eventually made it in there after it was all rebuilt via a season in the Riverside.
