  1. Senegal beating World and European Champions France in the opening game of 2002 is up there too.
  2. My lad is a average height/weight 12 year old and for a comfortable fit we had to get him small adults in both the home and GK's kit.
  3. That would soon be drilled out of him if he was with the first team. Or he would end up out wide.
  4. JDT saying he played Garrett because he needs to "develop" tells me that nothing has changed here and that results still don't matter, not even against that lot. It's a huge bonus for everyone concerned to be 3rd. Not saying i want him out but his card is certainly marked after this debacle.
  5. Yeah they could easily do that, i'm sure Ewood will hold up with two games in two nights with it having no action for a month. If that is the case i imagine the game against Celtic will be more like an under 18s game if we continue the theme with our CC cup teams we have picked so far. Anyway, I reckon it will be £20 adults and £10 kids and end up with around or just over 10k on. Halving the adult price and making it £1 for kids could generate a pretty healthy gate I reckon with it being the Christmas holidays, but it won't happen.
  6. It's a development game, can be moved as many times as we see fit. Think the group stage games have to be completed by February.
  7. Yeah they updated if after they forgot to include it in the original article. If it had said it in the original article at the time of posting, I wouldn't have said it wasn't included.
  8. I'll be amazed if he starts. JDT has already confirmed him starting tonight.
  9. Preston ticket details... https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/november/09/ticket-news--rovers-v-preston-north-end/ I know they stated at the beginning of the season that all derby games would start at £30, but Christ it's a poor do. The club will have received somewhere between £50-100k for moving the kick off to 12pm on Sky. Never expected anything different, but anybody with an ounce of sense would have used that cash to offset the prices with the position we are in. We could be going into that game top, after 3 weekends with no football. What could have been something up to 25k will probably settle around the 18k mark. Another huge missed opportunity in what is all too common in Waggots reign. They also fail to mention in the article that 1875 members can get £5 off, unless that has been put in the "all midweek games will be £20" file and forgotten about.
  10. Yeah, if we're playing 3 at the back which i think we will, i would like to see Hedges floating behind Diaz and Gallagher with Trav and Moreton behind him, A.Wharton and Szmodics off the bench later on for any tired legs.
  11. No sales on the day... https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/november/07/ticket-news--west-ham-united-v-rovers/
  12. Believe me i have seen some utter shit, and that today wasn't it.
  13. Just seen someone say on Twitter that we have won 4 Tuesday night away games since relegation in 2012. (Excluding League one 17/18) Millwall - April 2013 Hull - August 2019 Cardiff - June 2020 Preston - November 2020 And two of them were behind closed doors!
  14. Really don't think it will be off. Cov under huge pressure to play there games.
  15. I'd say we need 5 to cover a back 3, so Ayala departing in the summer to allowed Van Hecke to come in would be fantastic business.
  16. Absolute nonesense the entire thing with coyle. Claimed we didn't like him because he put Burnley above us. He got promoted with them in 2009. We beat them twice, finished 10th and had two more years in the top flight while they were below us.
  17. It was always going to phase 3 because there are only 2000 1875 members and 2275 tickets. Heard there's around 300 left for tomorrow.
  18. Wasn't he in the same situation as Phillips in that he hasn't signed a pro contract with us yet?
  19. Yeah he made that joke in March 95 after Utd had just beat them 9-0. It came back to haunt him 9 months later when Ipswich come to Ewood as a championship side in the FA Cup and beat us 1-0. Another woeful game.
  20. Think he's a super little player but concerning how many games he has missed through injury already.
  21. There was a 0-0 at Ewood against Swindon in early 2000 that's up there for me. Us rooted in mid table and them rock bottom.
  22. Any word on why Brittain wasn't in the matchday squad yesterday?
