  1. This just isn't going to happen, those days are long gone.
  2. Might drag until the last week of the window then! Can't imagine there are many takers for Buckley at the min.
  3. Guessing he won't be involved for a while seeing as he hasn't trained since getting injured on the 9th July.
  4. I wouldn't worry. There isn't a chance that gets heard today.
  5. He got injured in that game he played 32 minutes, and hasn't trained since.
  6. I've just ran it through this site to check - https://www.transferroom.com/gbe This also has him as a pass, but only just.
  7. Yes, due mostly to International minutes.
  8. Elliot saying Mafoumbi "could leave" when asked about ESC spots.
  9. Not sure Michelski sitting on the bench all season is great for development. Needs to be playing regular games in the under 21's for me.
  10. A "minor" hold up on the Miller deal. Reckon we have read that script before.
  11. Helps that he's a right back. Imagine he's quite far behind the others though after his injury at the back end of last season. I think he goes on another loan somewhere towards the end of the window. Montgomery is nowhere near ready to be shoehorned in the right back position in this league.
  12. It's fixed. He wouldn't be able to train or play for the U21's without it. (or be employed by the club) Only way to free the space up is for him to leave the club.
  13. December 2023 was the last renewal, so not quite 2 and a half years yet, but I imagine that will pass before they manage to get anyone else renewed. We're essentially a one contract club now.
  14. He could well end up in the "10". Tavares, Baradji and Henrikson will all end up replacing the first choice trio of Travis, Tronstad and Cantwell, on less than half the wages is my guess. Great business for the finances, not so much for on the field of play.
  15. We're allowed 4 ESC spots. Ohashi qualifies now so yes, Henriksson will take out last spot.
  16. Why wouldn't he though? He had a core that helped him be in the top 6 for the majority of his time here last season, managers tend to use trusted players where possible.
  17. Think he goes next summer. Won't be many takers for him right now. Rudy and co praying he has a decent season so they can get him off the books next summer.
  18. At the minute, and I'm including Pears, Buckley & Leonard and just replacing Brittain for Miller, we would need to register 22 of the current players in our first team squad. We also then have the likes of Goddard, Michelski, Duru, Atcheson, Litherland, Batty, Montgomery and Tyjon on the fringes who don't need to he registered.
  19. Why have you got Pears in there but not Buckley?
  20. This will be the most comfortable home game WBA have this season. WBA 2 Rovers 0
  21. Hyam isn't signing a new contract, not a chance. I think they will go back in for Colin Rosler next summer to replace him, we love revisiting old targets.
  22. Nixon was also pushing Kapaudi for another good week or so saying our bid was still live despite signing McLoughlin when it clearly wasn't. So yeah coming round to thinking that Henriksson is an alternative to Baradji but Nixon hasn't caught up yet.
