  1. I think the foundations were already in place mid season when he took over for that with the work Nathan Jones had done beforehand, he did keep it going to be fair to him to secure the promotion though. Dreadful this season though to leave that Luton squad firmly in the bottom 3.
  2. Of course he has looked out for himself, like said the vast majority do.
  3. He mentioned it in passing in his last interview after the Wolves game when asked about the Derby job. Dropped it in quite cleverly knowing that it can be used as the excuse for going, but he certainly didn't complain about it like Mowbray did every other week.
  4. Possibly, but I also don't think this lot have that kind of fire in them. We'll just slowly drift to 14th in the table and that will be that, unless the new manager is some kind of genius.
  5. A lot of managers aren't bothered about that, only look out for themselves. There will be plenty that fancy it short term I think to have a 14 game shot at the play offs. Summer is another huge problem on its own.
  6. He always came across like that as a player. I have been following his managerial/coaching career though since he got into it and he certainly isn't any more, quite outspoken and doesn't suffer fools at all. I think he would be pissed off within a month of being here under those idiots.
  7. I'm just surprised they had the decency to tell you all it's postponed.
  8. I will be amazed if Rob Edwards isn't first choice. Out of work Relatively cheap Desperate go get back in after a horror half season with Luton Promotion on his CV Seems to tick all the venkys/waggott boxes.
  9. I thought Eustace was in charge for that Stoke game?
  10. Waggot isn't retiring any time soon. Why would he? Easiest gig in football.
  11. Is the next Fans Forum meeting still this week?
  12. In the real world and normal everyday life yes. I think a football manager will be OK for a while though if he's unemployed for a bit.
  13. After bringing in £40m in the past 18 months? Probably not to be fair.
  14. Absolutely no chance. Be dressed up as family reasons.
  15. He might do short term, to get himself in the spotlight of the English game.
  16. Playing the long game, he probably thinks he has more chance achieving promotion with Derby than here.
  17. Not every approach for anyone in world football has to be "announced" you know.
  18. Pears, Toth, Brittain, Carter, Hyam, Wharton, Pickering, JRC, Travis, Tronstad, Buckley, Hedges, Kargbo, Cantwell, Ohashi & Gueye will be our senior players next season. Plus Markandey, Vale, Garrett & Leonard will all have to be registered next season. Out of all those, 7 will be out of contract in the summer of 2026. Shambles.
  19. If he goes I don't see Gerrard or Rooney at all with the amount of publicity them pair bring. This lot will want to go under the radar as much as possible. More likely someone like Russell Martin.
  20. Worth the question though if you are Derby owner, no? Short term it's a massive risk for Eustace to think about taking that job over staying here, for that reason I think he stays even if there is an approach. Long term though, no brainer to bugger off somewhere where he might get a bit of communication to what's going on at his place of work.
  21. So you wouldn't be targeting Eustace if you were in charge of Derby?
  22. Warne is a superb league one manager, just never really cut it at this level.
  23. Only really works if they manage to get him out of the door. The player could just sit on his contract and try his luck fresh in the summer instead of rushing into something now.
  24. No that's incorrect, we can still sell him for a fee. Not that I expect we will though. If he's to leave I expect it will be a loan until the end of his contract.
