  1. Yeah he's a good player. As said though, coming off a serious injury I'd be wary of him at the moment, I'm sure if our recruitment team are up to it we could find somebody just as good.
  2. I'd put good money on Buckley not being a regular next season. Also if we're going into next season with Dack as a false 9 then I just don't see it working at all.
  3. Cunningham would be the lazy option, so I fully expect him back. I'd be looking at Douglas from Leeds now they have gone up, really good left back from what I have seen of him.
  4. Even Port Vale have sold nearly 2000 season tickets for next season...
  5. He was never going there, too much of a risk. Another few years at Rangers in the top two, pick up a couple of trophys and be in prime position for when Klopp calls it a day.
  6. No wonder we went from 6th to 15th the season after.
  7. Yeah I vaguely recall something similar (about the money not the woman). He then went and spent most of it on Barry Ferguson.
  8. I think Chelsea were the only one's to hit Duff's release clause at the time.
  9. A quick google search tells me that he's 27, played less than 100 games, with no competitive games since since May 2018. Sounds about right for the market we will probably be operating in this summer!
  10. If there's no away fans, I'm sure we can socially distance the 8000 max (and I don't think it will be anywhere near that figure at the start) in the 4 stands at Ewood. Obviously there will be quite a few that will be precious about there seat, but when that's sorted I believe that anybody who wants to go at the moment would be able to under them restrictions.
  11. I've gone for Armstrong, mainly for the sheer quality of his goals, and the way he stepped up to being the main man after Dack's injury.
  12. Probably be a similar deal to Raya, we'll get about £3m for Nyambe moving on this summer, which will probably go towards a winger that will never play. At least that way though it's a huge distraction out of the way for Mowbray and he can let Bennett have a full season at right back, because "who else have we got to play there"?
  13. Well, we now know what league we're going to be in next season. Not that it makes a blind bit of difference.
  14. That article was the best, and most thought provoking one that I've read from Sharpe. There is a big chunk of the fanbase that go by the "this club and Mowbray must not be criticised ever by anyone" mantra.
  15. We'll probably win this pretty comfortably because nobody cares.
  16. I was under the impression that if they finish more than 12 clear of bottom 3 it will be next season, if not it'll be this season. Who knows though with the EFL.
  17. I'd personally say someone who plays off the front, he's certainly not a leader of the line from what I have seen of him. All his clips we saw prior to him signing was of him picking up the ball a bit deeper and running at players.
  18. I've no idea to be honest. That was the main reason Milwall vs Middlesbrough was a 3pm kick off last Wednesday so Boro could get back at a decent hour. Maybe we're travelling down on the day and just staying the one night after the game?
  19. I'd be surprised if away fans are allowed in next season but who knows. The sensible option does seem to be let home fans only in for a while to stop thousands descending on different city's every week, but even then how do you decide what home fans go? As we know many of our season ticket holders travel from out of town, do you only allow locals in first and take it from there? Or do you only allow ST holders in despite where they are travelling from, as I suppose going up to Blackburn for the day and watching the footy is no different to going to Blackpool on a random day out and milling around the town.
  20. Man to man there is only probably one or two you would take and put in our side. Milwall just seem to play uncomplicated football as a team though, with a clear plan of what they want to do. We always look a bit disjointed, mainly because we play lads who are uncomfortable in there roles, and we never let a settled 11 have a go at it for a good run of games, even read an article yesterday on lancs live and Mowbray is quoted as saying "I've never been one to keep the same team". We certainly know that Tony.
  21. Weird isn't it, but that's modern football for you for some clubs. Qualifying for Europe is a great achievement, actually being in it seems to be a hindrance. We have been guilty of that at times, I'm thinking the games against CSKA and Genclerbirligi under Souness. On a slightly different note, but it drives me mad that teams situated in midtable in the top flight play weakened teams in the League & FA Cup, these clubs should be throwing absolutely everything at the chance to win a major trophy.
  22. I think Brereton replacing Dack & Gallagher replacing Graham ready for next season was the initial thinking behind signing them both in 2018 & 19 respectively, but in between that it seems to have all gone to pot with Mowbray constantly changing formation and personnel, plus the fact that the two mentioned have ended up being terrible signings.
  23. It was nice to see one of the midfielders breaking his neck to get beyond the strikers to be honest, it's something we very rarely see. I bet Mowbray was having a fit on the bench.
