  1. Do you think it will be closed in the not to distant future? Surely Waggott would jump at the chance? On the safe standing, such a shame that venkys have decimated out fanbase so badly, Darwen End lower would have been ideal for it, half home and half away fans like the good old days. Atmosphere would have been superb.
  2. He does. Hence why I said it's a one year extension to his current deal.
  3. It's a one year extension to his current deal, on I presume a better salary.
  4. 20k home fans would be an incredible achievement for this. Lets hope it happens.
  5. Nice to see some sort of survey and consideration for this. Do we honestly believe that this will happen under Waggott/Venkys though? I would be amazed if it did.
  6. They have 7 different category's for ticket prices. They charged Milwall £27 recently and are charging Leicester £30 on Wednesday. I don't believe for a second we have agreed a "reciprocal" deal with them.
  7. 20% off Home kit and training wear today... https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2023/november/27/cyber-monday---20--off-training-wear-and-home-kit-/
  8. Keep the momentum up hopefully. Rovers 1 Brimingham 0
  9. Certainly on course for this bit.
  10. Of course Rovers social media is full of folk praising the decision. It was £20 there last season too so I doubt much of a deal had to be done here.
  11. 5 clean sheets in a row for Stoke. We miss a shed load of chances. See this being similar to Preston, to much strength, physicality, pace and experience for our lot. Stoke 2 Rovers 0
  12. Been caught out here then hasn't he, again.
  13. Shouldn't come as a surprise, but it looks like we haven't struck a reciprocal deal with Leeds over ticket prices like most other clubs have. We're charging them the full £30, which means we'll be paying £47 there. https://www.leedsunited.com/news/ticketing/32416/tickets-blackburn-rovers-a
  14. The players are performing and they also put in a hell of a shift. However, it's a small, weak and inexperienced bunch who when coming up against a team of well drilled experienced journeymen will probably lose out most of the time. I said we were a spineless bunch last night in the heat of the moment and that was harsh, I'm just disappointed with our home form more than anything, 5 defeats in 8 isn't good despite all the eye pleasing football on offer.
  15. The winner was nowhere near offside by the way... https://twitter.com/AwayDays_/status/1723237241672073503?s=19
  16. Amazing how people see different games. What I saw was a pretty spineless showing from Rovers again at Ewood. Easy to defend against, and can't deal with fairly simple balls in the box. Give me Prestons big, strong, physical, direct side over our bunch of spineless midget weaklings any day.
  17. We have no guarantee or right to the sell on money for Raya, it was always a huge bonus. The prem clubs can do as they please.
  18. Judging by that document none of it will be for the transfer window.
  19. I'd be tempted to go for 3 real midfielders in this game. Leo Brittain Hill Wharton Pickering Travis Tronstad Wharton Szmodics Dolan Moran
  20. It's a while off yet but it's being changed from the 26-27 season. One international break in late September that covers 2 weekends instead of 1 where there will be 4 internationals, and then the standard ones in November and March that cover the usual 1 weekend and 2 internationals. So not much better really.
  21. We have lost 4 out of 7 at home. Fortress Ewood has deserted us.
  22. Excellent performance against a really poor team, but take any win that comes. Friday concerns me though with the amount we have out.
  23. Leo in goal and a potential back 4 of Trav, Hill, Pickering and Brittain suggests Preston will have there usual free reign over Ewood and sail to a comfortable win. We're also not very good at Ewood this season. Rovers 0 Nobbers 2
  24. Carter suspended for this so i imagine it will be Hill/Wharton at the back with Brittain or JRC slotting into right back. A.Wharton has to play now he has had a little break.
  25. Plus there is prize money on offer in the cup. In the league it doesn't matter whether you finish 7th or 17th, there is no financial gain. With the state the club is in you would think that any cup games would be a priority.
