  1. When you have a pitiful 9k ST holders you need a good number of walk ons to make any kind of respectable gate - and how many are buying a match day ticket at £25-£30 for a fourth Ewood game in a row when we haven’t won a Saturday home game since October?
  2. There’s always been an element of the fanbase like that. You used to hear it all the time in the PL days, ‘where were all these in the 80s?, ‘proper fans back then’, ‘spoilt these days’ etc. Happy to see the club small, very strange outlook on life.
  3. Defo how the conversation went in Pune Towers.
  4. He’s a wily operator, no question, he’s been in this grubby business long enough to know how to play his cards. Shame he doesn’t put half as much effort into improving the commercial and operational performance of Blackburn Rovers.
  5. ‘This is our model… but if you don’t like it, well, we have others’
  6. ‘We are on a journey to become an established and sustainable Premier League club’
  7. He’ll get a job no problem.
  8. ‘Eco Day’ or whatever the fuck it was called. Blackburn End closure Scrapping the programme Allowing a LFC night at Ewood Park THE BUS Brockhall attempted bulldozing Removing the history murals The potential Tony Parkes tribute being kicked into the Ewood weeds. Running out of kit for months on end each season (mascots even having to come dressed in their own or they can’t be one) Only being able to attract a vape company literally down the road as sponsor Match day surcharge Category A+ ticketing (soon shelved) 1875 club (to cynically cash in on folk worrying about getting Dingle tickets or other small away allocations, no surprise sales of it have tanked this season) Doing absolutely nothing post Oxford to tap into the fanbase Hiking up prices post pandemic as pretty much every other club went the other way. Probably loads more and some are more cynical rip offs than out and out fuck ups, but all point to a spiv a million miles out of his depth.
  9. JDT ‘has only himself at heart’… but TM ‘gave the club a lot of heart’ Lock the thread 😁
  10. The fact that they are the ‘leadership group’ sums up the state the squad has been allowed to get in to.
  11. There’s hardly been any booing (despite the results, despite the club being in one of its worst states in its history).
  12. Are we any closer?
  13. Everything down there is done so unprofessionally, so cheaply, so grubbily - and it is no surprise with an ex-agent spiv somehow running the place.
  14. *The people who run and own the club. This football club and its supporters are the victims of this disgraceful operation.
  15. Ten games without a win, hurtling down the table, the club generally in a right old state, so of course you will get a smattering of boos at half time. Thats football and would happen at every club in the country - I’d wager they’d get it far stronger at a lot of other grounds. What a bizarre thing to spend half time discussing.
  16. You’ve even had years of the supposed finance guru Maguire stating how marvellous they are - is it any wonder why a lot of fans are in the dark?
  17. Just shows how disinterested pundits are with off the field stuff. ‘How did they play on Saturday?’ ‘Pressure growing on JDT’, ‘Do you blame JDT?’ ‘What about Szmodics?’ Well done Ian for keeping on messsge.
  18. Be nice, his dad will be reading.
  19. Yep, even them updating the official Facebook page’s photo got about 90 comments… and not many the club will enjoy reading.
  20. Agree with Gooze to an extent, calling people 'cretins' etc probably doesn't do this place any favours, we need to keep the high ground. However, the days of pandering to such people and their nonsense is over, the club is in one of the worst places in it's history. Facts, facts, facts and there's plenty of them.
  21. They’ve also had a terrible season (with a wage bill a fair bit bigger than ours) culminating in a 5-0 home tonking on Saturday. Every chance their players turn up with slapped arses looking for excuses too. But West Brom away aside we couldn’t have asked for a better run of games since new year…and we’ve not won one.
  22. So where were the ‘Venkatash Rao’s Confused Army!’ chants last season then if everything was rosy and there’s never been an issue with the owners?
  23. Ewood and #venkysout all over social media for starters. It’s turning, not turned, still plenty out there that just don’t/won’t get it - but you can tell by the sudden unmooring of the ostrich brigade that the fanbase isn’t in the place it was re these owners just a few months ago.
  24. Swag’s not going anywhere either, so what was he doing on there?
  25. Reg is a very strange one, sure he was vehemently anti-Venky for years.
