  1. ‘Because Bury’ because £20 million a year’ ‘because shit fans’ ‘because FFP’ ‘because we’d be bust without them… ‘because nobody would, ever, buy the 9th most successful club in English history’
  2. Not bizarre to me. The LT toes the line. The club didn’t want attention brought to the HMRC issue after they thought they’d got away with keeping it quiet, whereas they’ve no issue in the news that JDT was being blocked from doing the presser getting out, as once again it removes the flak from them and the owners, this time on to the ‘moaning’ head coach.
  3. As I hinted at up the page, not a chance of a protest against the owners now. A few frees and loans and if social media is anything to go by a fanbase that felt close to turning are back firmly in their pocket.
  4. … yet away from here the fanbase is buzzing.
  5. There won’t be any discontent (well maybe towards JDT), the late signings have ensured that.
  6. Did he? I don’t remember that. In what way? But even if he did, it was a few weeks, and look at him now.
  7. ‘What’s his problem? He got loads of players in, needs to stop moaning’ is the crux of the Twitter replies to Elliot Jackson.
  8. Saw someone on Facebook say ‘well we only have 11,000 crowds how can we compete?’, like that’s a fait accompli. Maybe there’s something the owners of the execs they employ could do about that?
  9. It’s just how forums are, from Man Utd’s to a non league club. Go and find a ‘balanced’ one anywhere. RAWK is also skewed as ‘negativity’ towards any aspect of LFC is banned. Amuses me how folk are expecting a genteel, balanced chat over an anonymous message board.
  10. Just as I thought the tide that was just starting to turn, it has abated again due to a few frees and loans arriving on deadline day, but it’s ‘bodies’. ‘FFP’, ‘crap fans’, ‘spoilt’, ‘negative’. They play the fanbase like a fiddle.
  11. ‘Think Big’, 2024 edition.
  12. You said ‘torrid time’. Maybe from upset Everton fans.
  13. Exactly, there is always another crisis, another temporary issue, another excuse. 13 years and we a million miles from the PL.
  14. All forums are like this. Yes more reactive, you aren’t going to get the Oxford Debating Union with both sides getting an equal look in, they just don’t work that way, but as you say also a more granular look at things. On the flip side a hell of a lot of football fans just want to watch their team on a Saturday, they’ll read snippets on the LT and as it’s the social media age they may well ‘Like’ a club post on Facebook and that’s it. Neither is wrong, just how people approach supporting their team, how much free time they have to waste on message boards! But there’s no doubt this place has been bang on the money since day one. ‘Doesn’t look right, doesn’t smell right’.
  15. A typical Bizzle non answer there.
  16. Who has had the number of these owners since 2010? Brfcs or the wider fanbase?
  17. So what are they doing on and off the pitch to get us ‘back to the Premier League one day’? As from where I’m looking we are as far away as ever and the only way we are getting out of this league is in the wrong direction…
  18. Gordon’s had a great impact up there.
  19. Who do you think has had the number of these owners since 2010? This ‘negative’ place or the wider fanbase?
  20. ‘Bodies in, some of the Adam money will be spent in the summer, the rest will help the club. What are you protesting about? Just get behind the lads FFS’
  21. ‘Doom and gloom’. This place ay, right bunch of negative nellies, aren’t they. Wonder what’s happened over 13 years to bring that on?
  22. ‘These lads fit how Jon wants to play, certainly not just any available loans and frees’. ’We want to be an established and sustainable Championship club like I’ve always said… and Oceania has always been at war with East Asia.
  23. I am yes, you haven’t been all night. As the owners can’t fund their obligations. This money will be used instead to fund the day to day operations of the club for the next six months, tax, NI, wages. So what/who’s ‘debt’ will be getting paid down? So yes, it’s certainly a ‘good deal’ for the Rao’s.
  24. In what way is it reducing debt?
