  1. Still haven’t seen anybody explain why it’s such a great idea to sell our only senior striker when the funds won’t be spent on a replacement.
  2. Longers closing his brfcs window as we speak. 😭
  3. They won’t be making the mistake of appointing a JDT-esque character again, far too finger pointy at those that like to keep a low profile. A yes man next time without a doubt.
  4. We would all be happy with the first bit if it led to the second bit, but as it won’t he may as well stay.
  5. He’s having a laugh Chaddy. He does it in the transfer window threads, some daft ‘rumour’ and gets a load of 🎣 every time.
  6. So you’ve just pointed out the signings that haven’t worked out (wonder if a pitiful budget, cut halfway through a window) has anything to do with it ?) Not the good signings and contract renewals that have been a real positive. Obviously incomparable to Steve Waggott who has done nothing but regress the club from day one. Just silly that you are even having this argument (though I don’t actually think you believe it, you are just having a few Friday night japes as no Rovers fan can seriously argue that Swag is doing a better job then anyone from the tea lady up at BRFC)
  7. And he didn’t even manage that (he rents it).
  8. Level with us Gazza, what’s the craic with you and the Irish Foden as you obviously aren’t a Rovers fan?
  9. In a fairly short spell GB has brought in some good players, and has got players signed up on contracts - something Swag couldn’t manage in the old set up to our dear cost. Now tell me something, anything Swag has achieved in six long years here?
  10. Bigger clown than Swag? Behave!
  11. Good, thought you were trying to say this wasn’t Venky’s fault for a second there. So how long will they be going through this quarterly palava for then? One quarter? Two? Twenty? Unsustainable and can only lead to relegation.
  12. Indian judiciary and government now to blame. Always someone else.
  13. Why would selling him for ‘football reasons’ be a good idea when he won’t he replaced?
  14. He gets sold for a million now, we then spend nothing - and no senior striker for the rest of the season. He stays, we get zero, we then spend nothing - but a senior striker for the rest of the season.
  15. Not a sniff of the play offs with those players. So not sure how much of ‘playing to our strengths’ we did? Unless taking no risks for 85 minutes and then ‘giving it a real good go’ for 5 counts?
  16. Look at our record against PNE too (especially at Ewood) this past decade. Bit of a pattern emerging.
  17. Two senior players loaned out to clubs in the same division in the same season… is that normal?
  18. ‘Stay on topic guys!’ If we are actually linked with anyone/can actually find £500k after paying the VAT bill and getting rid of the captain then the thread will be over it - we obviously aren’t being so it goes off topic, otherwise you may as well just lock it for a week at a time until Nixon posts some BS on a Sunday morning.
  19. We’d just been to Arsenal in the cup quarter final, pretty much filled the Clock End, then took a load to this game midweek. A real buzz around the club. Superb performance and we were on the charge by then. Great side. Like the ‘92 team. Compare and contrast to this ragtag bunch.
  20. Our crowds could and should be better, no question, especially when you see the crowd boom across football in recent years. We've gone around this buoy as to why many, many times. But our standard average gate since 2012 has been c14,000. Sometimes a bit lower, but ballpark. What is so terrible about that for a small, deprived town hemmed in by league clubs after a shocking decade (but one of the highest ST prices)? It's the Ewood factor that makes things look worse than they are as it's a ground built for top 6 Premier League football, not this never-ending shambles. Either way I won't be taking any pelters from fecking Wrexham fans.
  21. Even in the midst of Mogga death spirals all you'd here around you at Ewood would be 'ah well'. Whereas even in good runs of form sitting high up the table it would only take one too many passes for the JDT grumbles to start. The jumpers for goalposts, 'great working class people here' routine works a treat for TM wherever he goes the crafty owd sod.
  22. They used to 'do it before'. Coyle aside they haven't sacked anyone since 2015 and they won't be sacking yon mon either, he'll walk in the summer or just wander off when his contract runs out and they don't bother renewing it a la TM.
  23. Not ‘Chorley famous’ though… ask tomphil!
  24. Yep, definitely been rumbled now. ‘Riversides Damien Duff’ ?! 😁 No Rovers fan is yon mon.
