  1. Yep the precedent has been set for the Blackburn End. But why they can’t just put the Cambridge fans in the JWL and shut the Darwen End instead is beyond me (and it is something they’ve done before, was it Barnet in the cup in the L1 season?).
  2. Obviously won’t be a main BBC or ITV pick, but they do move the KO of a load of random games for overseas TV in the third round.
  3. Yeah the ‘town team’ is who you played for as a kid if you were reight good…
  4. Just outside the play offs and they want their manager potted? Typical entitled Plasti…oh https://www.pne-online.net/forum/index.php?threads/ryans-post-match-comments.3439472/
  5. Cracking following that especially considering we had plenty at Stoke last week and £30 a pop.
  6. Give them chance, SG! 😀 It’s three weeks off, it won’t even be on the radar yet for most floating fans, the days leading up to the game sees the vast majority of tickets sold.
  7. If the club is left to the likes of Swag it will continue to wither on the vine, slowly sink into the lower leagues and even more of the support base will drift away. Despite limited resources JDT is showing on the pitch what drive and ambition can do, fans groups are doing the same off it. These owners are obviously going nowhere (why do they stay? What do they get out of it? Fecked if I know after 12 long years). But one thing we do need to happen is this long awaited CEO retirement and an actual proactive replacement to grab this club by its bootstraps and realise that this club can achieve far more than just managed decline.
  8. It can be poorly attended, however if you price it right it can attract a big gate - Wigan game December 23rd 2019 was our biggest home turn out of the season (for a Sky night match too) as tickets were also reduced to a tenner for that, from memory.
  9. What folk say on a survey compared to actually putting their money were said mouth is can be quite different…
  10. They’ve had 12 years pre this recent liquidity issue and there’s not ever been a sniff of the never refusers sorting out that dilapidated (non FFP impacted) piece of infrastructure.
  11. They would open the upper Blackburn End before the other half of the Darwen End… though let’s fill those other 20k seats before we get giddy about long mothballed areas!
  12. 1400 travelling fans from the second biggest city in the country, home crowds of 18k or so. Their support can’t hold a candle to ours pro rata.
  13. Definitely seen folk being overly-harsh on Leonard. Tough gig being a young striker in the one up top modern game, and perhaps the Vale/Hirst memories of last season clouding their judgement. But Tronstadt? Can’t say I’ve seen much of that. Did ok, had a spell out the side, came back as the real deal.
  14. Is there actually a plan for the Riverside (apart from its condemning/closure)? Can’t say I ever recall it being mentioned in the FF minutes.
  15. If you suddenly see me praising our ST pricing and bemoaning those shit, entitled fans of ours, then yes, the magic coffee beans will have been consumed.
  16. Odd that anyone ‘wrote Tronstadt off’. Started the first game of the season, looked neat and tidy even then, if a little off the pace.
  17. And I finally get the newsletter each month!
  18. Nicky Reid. He was in the Premier Suite for the Cardiff game as I was… he still looked like he could hand it out.
  19. No, they’ve already picked their live games for that weekend.
  20. Big Dack fans too… https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/waddley-cack.1620589/
  21. The elephant is back in Rev’s room again…
  22. Only one person at the club who’s contract doesn’t need an extension and it ain’t JDT’s.
  23. Abbey and PB back… just need ‘drog😀
  24. Aye, c20k gate considering Watford won’t fetch many would be excellent. Unfortunately such chirpers (usually very vocal on social media) just don’t understand that with only 9k ST holders you just aren’t going to get ‘sell outs’. 20,000 walk ons aren’t suddenly going to come out the woodwork for a mid season second division game, Christmas or not. Price STs at a sensible level if you want to see close to a ‘sell out’ for an initiative like this.
  25. Great stuff from all involved. Saturday 3pm with a potential big floating support to tap into as it’s Christmas weekend. Finally, finally the club does it for a game that makes sense instead of ridiculous choices like Reading on a red button random Tuesday night. Hallelujah 🙌 (Just shows what happens when fans get involved in the decision making ay!)
