  1. If ever there was a visual metaphor to what this shower have done to Blackburn Rovers.
  2. Missed out on the play offs to the Premier League on goal difference. What’s the response? Normal club? One more heave! Here? Slash the budget and tell the media that the club is happy to just stay out of the third division. What’s the point of any of this?
  3. Why would you hear it? The majority see no issue with them. Indeed JDT calling them out should lead to a few of them waking up to the root cause of this shambles of a football club, but you are far more likely to hear them telling him to ‘stop moaning and making excuses’.
  4. JDT won’t be potted, he’ll walk himself or just wander off when his contract runs out. I’ve seen a few saying GB should be potted - he won’t be, he’ll be here as long as he fancies but eventually end up as Sporting Director at a random Belgian club, chatting bollocks on a podcast or as some kind of managerial consultant, still chatting bollocks on a podcast. Swag should be sacked? Of course, but he won’t be, he’ll fill his pockets until he chooses his own retirement date and rides off into the sunset without giving the mess he leaves behind a second thought. These owners sack nobody as they have no standards, no drive, no will to win, no accountability, no passion, no pride and it has polluted this club to its core. The club is finished unless they finally give it up as a bad job and once and for all fuck off.
  5. Nobody on here does, plenty at Ewood would be delighted.
  6. Reminds me of this I saw the other day 😁
  7. https://www.superstarspeakers.co.uk/event-details/an-evening-with-liverpool-legends-blackburn-29th-february-2024 ’Liverpool legends night comes to Blackburn’ I’m thinking ‘’load of plastic Scousers at King George’s Hall, pathetic”… clicks link, no it’s at Ewood, of course it is. The ‘Head of Consumer’ obviously knows what plenty of locals want to consume , I suppose… but so small time I’m still cringing.
  8. Amazes me how common this is and increasingly so from what I can see. Lad I’m friends with on Facebook who is from a *staunch* Rovers family, he himself sat a few rows in front of me until fairly recently, posted a pictures of his kids the other day in Liverpool shirts, someone commented aghast and he’s all ‘I know mate, it’s because they love Salah’, they are about 5 and 7 by the looks of it. Just tell them straight ‘we are Rovers fans in this family’, end of discussion - weak.
  9. Start as you mean to go on 😁
  10. I’ve come to terms with this lot outlasting us all, who knows maybe not my children (grandchildren?). Obviously what state the club is in by then is anyone’s guess; houses on Brockhall, Riverside fallen into the River Darwen, ground sharing with Stanley, but lots of ‘progression’ from the minutes on the pitch for the Category 4 academy lads fresh off dodging the dog shit at Pleasy - Goodheart will be pleased.
  11. Yes decent unti a month ago, sitting just outside the playoffs after winning 6 out of the last 8 games. I know you seem to exist in an Ewood only vacuum but most fans can recognise overall form, as much as they'd obviously like more home wins.
  12. £20k according to various sites. The rest are League 1 journeymen (I.e why they’ll be heading back there), so they’ll be on peanuts compared to Watford players.
  13. Is he buggery on 90k a week!
  14. Obviously we are down the bottom end, but hmm not sure about some of those salaries. Sheff Wed straight out of the third division with the same wage bill as parachute club Watford, as one example?
  15. Because Ewood is pro Venky’s, like it was pro Teflon, it ain’t pro JDT.
  16. I was listening to Radio 5 the other day and I can’t remember the pundit but he was pretty much saying that a lot of managers know it’s nonsense but they are petrified of being labelled a dinosaur and not getting another job. The game has collectively lost the plot on the back of Pep playing a certain way, but with world class players.
  17. I think they would turn, the crowd always turns after horrendous runs, unless your Teflon Tony, of course. I don’t think they should, by the way, after a good season last time and a decent one this term until a month ago, but he’s never been particularly popular at Ewood, so you go say 2-0 down to Rotherham and he’ll cop it big time.
  18. I love the bloke, I think he’ll turn it round as he’s a bloody good manager in my opinion. But eventually everyone runs out of road, and if we didn’t win a single game after November and collapsed to that extent of course he should go.
  19. Feel few to do what you want, but you are just going to give up on one of the greatest thrills in life, getting your own children following in your footsteps? You’ll just let them be another one of millions with a City shirt on? Something they have zero connection to? Instead of being part of something shared with you? These owners will leave, we will rebuild this club, why not be part of it with your own family?
  20. The club doesn’t bother with that (or the actual league table), dinosaur thinking… you should see the ‘academy grads minutes on pitch = value added’ table 🤩
  21. Complicated business this football lark, ain’t it? Take it Luton were well clued up on ‘Goodhart’s law’ and R rating? Or maybe they thought they’d been knocking on the door so their ‘target’ was to improve the side and go one better the year after?
  22. An academy with a first team bolted on.
  23. Possibly Rev, yes, he’s not bulletproof to me, why should he be?
