Buckley certainly should’ve received a new deal. Last season all three promoted sides stayed up with a bit to spare, so its not as black and white as made out re gulfs.

I know it’s hard for folk abroad to understand but a load of football fans here don’t have Sky and generally aren’t particularly interested in the PL. Now I do have it but even I’m well out the loop, the World Cup proved that when the commentators would go ‘here’s player x of Aston Villa/Fulham/West Ham’ and I honestly wouldn’t have recognised them if they’d walked past me.

All a calculation to Swag, coining it in from 7300 travelling Leeds fans at full whack compared to not allowing 1500 or so Rovers away fans to be ripped off (that he doesn’t make a penny out of either way)? No brainer.

Why is it hard to understand? Opinions on politics, music, films etc etc vary widely. Why would football be different?

Chadster is defending a one way of playing that even JDT would change if he’d have had the option to bring in a proper centre forward. Wait till January when JDT says as much again and he’ll be all ‘yeah we defo need to look for a big forward to go plan b like the manager says’.

The away support average will improve with more northern/midland games from now on. We’ve had a shed load of long distance games so far. The home support… well, there’s no point going around that buoy again. We all know the issue there.

He didn’t get dropped. He was having a poor run supposedly due to playing with an injury, he was excellent prior to that. He’s far superior to these two (oh and Raya dropped a few clangers himself, that’s modern goalkeeping for you).

To be fair ‘Written by Lennon-McCartney’ was largely a business arrangement from two individual songwriters post about 1965.
