  1. *Murdoch sold Sky about five years ago. F*ck that American conglomerate Comcast!
  2. Be amazed if they are not well up by then, it’s the third last game remember… winning the title on the other hand? 😟
  3. Bigger TV ratings at 5pm… so obviously the actual match going fans can lump it!
  4. BBC and ITV will still be arguing about who gets to show Man Utd live for the 423rd consecutive tie…
  5. Definitely. You have parachute clubs with that bit of extra ability, then there’s 12/15 clubs of similar (pretty average) quality.
  6. ‘No pace’ a couple on there are saying… Christ the Championship must be played at snails pace then!
  7. No need to panic buy some crap flowers at a petrol station… you’ll be on the ale in Sheffield instead!
  8. Believe the U21s will now play the day before/after the first team.
  9. I suppose Cardiff was only a couple of years after being there for an actual final so no novelty factor either. But as we said on the other thread, never know with Rovers fans…
  10. Difficult one. Semi-finals shouldn’t be there as we all know and there’s that back of your mind hope of getting to the actual final if a kind draw and the play off final too. But on the flip side first ever trip to the new Wembley. I’d wager c25k.
  11. If it’s on Sky red button too, yes. Think it’s a tenner.
  12. Depends, if it’s 6pm on Sunday night (like one of the QFs was last season), for example, they won’t fly out.
  13. You know Rovers fans, wouldn’t surprise me if we struggled to sell them or they sold out in 5 minutes… always unpredictable for away followings!
  14. 4,800 according to the official page (so who knows, possibly given an increased allocation at some point, as home areas weren’t selling out?) https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2023/february/sheffield-united-v-spurs-fa-cup-ticket-news/
  15. Tottenham got 4,800 last night…
  16. Due to the size of allocation, I imagine it will be fairly standard, I.e: Phase 1 – Season Ticket Holders with 1875 Club Membership Phase 2 – Season Ticket Holders Phase 3 – 18 Game Package / HST Holders Phase 4 – 1875 Club Members Phase 5 - Open Sale As plenty of ST holders won’t bother, it should go to open sale. But I suppose it’ll depend on how many ST holders that aren’t bothering themselves ‘lend’ their ST number to someone else…
  17. Rail strike if on the Saturday…
  18. If the ‘project’ Reggie is banging on about is having a club with an average budget 4th in the league and in a FA Cup Quarter Final in his first season then he’s my kind of PM…
  19. I’ve no time for Tottenham, but it’s obviously a great stadium as new builds go…
  20. A big chance as theoretically we would get 7kish at City, 9k for OT. And quite a few ST holders won’t bother.
  21. Ha, what ground is then?
  22. BBEnd NO1, and I might start to do that myself, getting to a JWU stage of life, I think…
  23. Bloody hell you’re joking! He was getting dogs abuse around me against Swansea. Pals in different areas/stands have all said the same. And I bet plenty on here have seen it at Ewood too. Was building ever since the Dingle debacle. ’Football’s shit’, ‘going nowhere with this guy’, ‘should have kept Mowbray’. A goal from them would have seen the crowd turn big time.
  24. Crowds are low because we don’t sell enough STs, and as ST holders make up the vast majority of the crowd, it’s those that need to be cheaper, unfortunately those on social media just don’t understand that basic fact. It’s still £24 a game for this deal in the JWU (the most popular stand for walk ons), is that supposed to see a stampede to the ticket office?
