  1. Think they just got an ‘offer they couldn’t refuse’ from GK. Not aware of them going anywhere else.
  2. You can tell with JDT’s body language whenever he’s asked about him. That sunny disposition/perma-smirk quickly disappears. Obviously something has/is going on. Either an actual fall out or possibly issues with his attitude etc.
  3. He’s young, developing and making mistakes, par for the course with young lads. Which if he’s our academy grad, fine. But he isn’t. It reminds me of when we appointed Bowyer, he was also a rookie that made errors, and it cost us promotion. I’m all for loans if they fundamentally improve the side and are better than what you have. Elliot being a prime example or Archer at Middlesbrough. This lad just isn’t. However, if it wasn’t for Buckley’s injury or the January balls up he wouldn’t be playing. So ultimately it all comes down to mistakes in recruitment.
  4. Even in ‘95! Conceded a last minute equaliser at Leeds on the Saturday, then lost at home to City on Easter Monday. Our late wobble began that weekend.
  5. Easter has been our downfall on a few occasions. Bowyer era, 95th minute SWFC equaliser at Hillsborough followed by drawing at home to fecking Yeovil on Good Friday (now on the verge of relegation to National League South, by the way.) pretty much torpedoed our play off chances. Peterborough last Good Friday pretty much put the final nail in the coffin. So, Norwich is definitely a must not lose.
  6. The French onion soup though 😋
  7. Oh sorry. They may as well make this a bubble again if it’s still going to be a palava all round. Talking of ‘high risk’ games, will we get 5k+ for PNE for a half 5 KO in the run-in, with both teams looking for the play offs?
  8. Possibly, especially here if the bubble is a thing of the past.
  9. So? Cardiff could still have given them 3k. Indeed they asked for them and were turned down.
  10. The Cardiff away section holds 3,000. Swansea were given… 1,800. Had a look through their forum, can’t see any skriking.
  11. Though, quite enjoyable seeing a club that has spent half a billion quid in two windows toil like this.
  12. Yep, I’m not too disheartened, typical Rovers obviously to throw away the chance of a big cushion to 7th. But the reason we do lose games like this is because we have a pretty average/inexperienced bunch of players. So going into to Easter with a four point gap? Cracking place to be all things considered.
  13. ’Excellent’ signing? No chance, he’s shown glimpses of quality (when not injured, that is), and I’m certainly happy to see him at the club, but has been poor on a fair few occasions too, and now can’t even get in the team.
  14. Bit harsh, he just needed a run of games.
  15. He’s from the Wirral, probably why he’s so soft.
  16. UK is entirely appropriate in this context as there are a shed load of LFC glory hunters in Wales and NI.
  17. Nobody despises the glory hunting hordes more than me (pathetic individuals who are trying to get some reflected glory in their sad little lives), but due to said millions of plastics across this country it’s not exactly a surprise that LFC can fill their ground even from a ‘small’ city, is it…
  18. Was it Szmodics you wanted snapped last time? Unique approach to fandom, I’ll give you that.
  19. Liverpool are a club full of UK and foreign glory hunters, they don’t need the city itself to fill their ground. Everton get their support from across Merseyside and north Wales (population of 2 million). Like Manchester, it’s just a case of city council boundaries being tightly drawn, they have huge catchment areas and support bases.
  20. Was reading in today’s Times that Championship clubs are set to reject DAZN’s offer to screen every game, whilst L1/L2 clubs are going to accept it. Some sense from our league, obviously a death wish from those down the pyramid…
  21. Oh I do, makes no odds now if they win games, nobody is even paying attention to them now as it’s already sewn up.
  22. I’d give up now if I was you J*B or it’s going to be a very late bedtime 😁
  23. All I know is after an hour of listening I want to drive my car into the central reservation… but I also want to visit a builders merchant.
  24. Burnley. Talk Sport. Neil Custis. Christ.
