The club needs root and branch reform on the commercial side. It’s lazy, amateurish and full of folk with no feeling for the fanbase and how to engage them - a reflection of its chief. They’ve finally cottoned on on the football side, we can only hope the commercial side eventually follows. But we need a new broom first.

That’s the rub, if you make them cheaper plenty of folk will bite the bullet and buy one even if they know they’ll miss a few. That’s certainly what PNE and Bolton will be finding. However, when you are being asked to pay up to £500 you need to think hard if you believe you’ll miss a load of night games etc.

Come off it Longers, of course this season has been more prickly, but generally I’d imagine a fan of an arch rival wouldn’t get the welcome you get on here on any other forum - a Rovers fan on UTC certainly wouldn’t.

We are being pushed out of Hyndburn schools too by a club that was in non league not that long ago. The club has wilfully thrown away its footprint outside BwD (just as more and more of our fanbase leave the borough).

To increase sales by nearly a 1,000 after this ridiculous fixture upheaval would be very surprising. (Not that 10k is owt to crow about anyway). Thought possible if we had a heroic failure in the play offs garnering some good will and momentum in the fanbase (actual promotion a different issue entirely).

Shearer, Newell, Flowers (and Kenny) all lived down the road from each other in Southport, didn’t they, and were big pals.

The club won’t countenance a ‘day’ ticket, ‘18 game ticket’ etc because they know it’s only having c9k ST holders that is ensuring we have any kind of crowd /sales for midweek games (and that’s with a load of holders swerving it, but they still count towards the ‘crowd’ and revenue regardless). If it was offered I’d imagine we’d sell an embarrassingly low number of 23 game STs.

I think a lot of floating fans will have picked Tuesday as their late season game and will unfortunately be giving this a swerve… though two wins and there will be one more Ewood game for them to pick.

Have we heard a single thing from Swag this season (or any ‘board member’)? Now I don’t particularly want to hear anything from the cretin, but considering we have underground owners too it’s a notable wall of silence from ‘the board’.

Not sure we have bottled it. We are playing fine, but cannot score goals - we have been shafted by January (again). Though then I suppose ‘the club’ has bottled it.

We will stay static, at best. Quite a few will unexpectedly drop off due to months of hardly a Saturday 3pm game, that will be coupled with those that never were going to renew for a plethora of reasons. So we need to hope that there is a big enough churn with new folk coming in to just about tread water. When’s he retiring again?
