  1. After cringe watching Sunderland till I Die, Brockhall seems an oasis of calm and professionalism in comparison…
  2. I wouldn’t say ‘not a fan’, but he certainly comes across as somebody that took a passing interest in the 90s, but hasn’t given the club not much thought since…
  3. It’s ‘Rovers’. All these references to ‘Blackburn’ shows your ignorance… which is being displayed again by the ridiculous statement of a ‘one man team’, like you could possibly win a top flight league title that way!
  4. It works out at £24 a game in the JW. How is that possibly going to entice a floating fan who is unsure of their availability week to week?
  5. ‘Worst Bond film ever’ ?!? Take it you’ve never seen half the ones with Moore or Brosnan then?
  6. ‘That will involve Tony, there will be discussions about myself and the general direction of the club and how it’s been run over my tenure. “We’re both relaxed, at a stage of our careers where we can be relaxed as you can be in football, but it is what it is. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19941645.blackburn-rovers-tony-mowbray-set-venkys-contract-talks/ So not just TM’s future up for discussion in the summer. What’s that Cromwell line again?
  7. I’ve no idea if I agree or not, I stop reading due to the name said poster sprinkles through all his posts.
  8. Booed by who? Made who? Who were a sinking ship? R-O-V-E-R-S!
  9. I agree, I think this deal makes it unlikely there will be a £10/£15 offer to really get the place rocking in the run in. Absolutely mad from where I’m standing, but doesn’t surprise me one bit with that lot running the club.
  10. 2 goals in 2022 is another number…
  11. Or the midweek after. I would think the fact the ‘Final 5’ ticket kicks in on the 12th would suggest it’s pencilled in to be played pre that weekend…
  12. And few will. What’s the point in buying it if you are a floating fan who doesn’t buy a ST/half ST because you know you struggle to make every game/night games/have other commitments? If you can’t make just one of the five it straight away doesn’t become worth shelling out £100-odd quid, you’ll just keep your powder dry and you can weigh up your availability week by week as the season progresses. There must be some method behind all this, but I’m buggered if I can work it out…
  13. Swansea are in terrible form (apart from one certain recent game, funny enough), so maybe this postponement will work out well if they can actually get their act together by the re-arranged date.
  14. That our pitch peer group these days?
  15. More bundles! https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/february/21/a-fantastic-final-five-/ Eee, you have to laugh. But, I suppose, this is more of a quarter ST as it can be bought anywhere, so fair enough, as even if just a few hundred buy one, they are in the tent for a potential full ST renewal in the summer. Makes much more sense than that frankly daft ‘Darwen End Double Decker’. Though at £99-£120, it works out at £20 a game in the Riverside/BBEnd, £24 in the JWU, it’s substantially more pro rata than a half ST, so if a floating fan didn’t sign up for one of those, I’m not sure what kind of uptake you are going to get for this. But, Swag… please, please let’s still see a PROPER one off cheap ticket game for the run in if we are still up there…
  16. I’m not usually one to ‘take a point’, you want to go up, you go out to win. However, this has a real Hull away feel to me for all the reasons others have pointed out. Get a point out of it, it keeps Sheff Utd at arms length too and we go again to give QPR a shoeing on Saturday.
  17. What’s the Deepdale pitch got to do with anything?
  18. Yes. It’s a free shot from 12 yards.
  19. Come off it 1864, not had weather like yesterday in 35 years indeed 🙄
  20. And that’s all well and good, we are all aware of the geographic make up of Ewood. However, despite that, from memory, we still only had a single game called off (Villa in the cup in 2009/10) for water logging/a frozen pitch (I stand to be corrected, but you get my point of it being few and far between) between Wimbledon in 1993 and this lot taking over the club. How many we had since?
  21. … which is odd, as they ‘never refuse a cheque’.
  22. Buckley?! Love to hear your rationale on that with his recent form from close range…
  23. Well I never… https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/corry-evans.1557189/page-8
