  1. Classic divide and rule tactics - and a look at social media says it’s working a treat.
  2. Swag and Suhail are doing the job requested of them, cut costs and get the club to be self-funding. He’ll go when he’s had enough and not before.
  3. Unfortunately the LT comments are seen by a much wider audience than any on here and as a result will set the narrative with a lot of the fanbase
  4. I don’t think it is a lack of passion, it’s fifteen years of realisation that we are powerless, the owners are half a world away and couldn’t give a flying feck what we plebs think. Protest, boycott, withdraw your funds? So? Suhail can just cut the budget more is the view from Pune
  5. What is your opinion on what the Trust’s approach to the owners and board should be?
  6. ‘Who’ll want to come here now?’ was exactly the conversation after the JDT departure/January 2023 window debacle.
  7. Whacking gantries up in the Riverside to move the cameras (so to make the ground look busier, presumably for the benefit of India) took about five days one close season… to just rename it after a club legend, five years and counting.
  8. Another day to finalise the move first then. I can imagine the Swag verbal gymnastics on this one already.
  9. Tomorrow… though maybe O2G has had an email re a postponement.
  10. I was responding to the post that said every other club had full houses… clubs struggling for form didn’t. Our crowd was fine considering form, TV, shit KO time.
  11. ‘Strong positive stewardship’. Totally agree, be great to see some of that at Blackburn Rovers.
  12. … on paper it may look insane, especially for a manager with a reputation climbing ever higher, yet he still seemingly wants to go, Eddie. No more needs to be said to the complete disarray Blackburn Rovers is in off the field.
  13. Don’t underestimate how many just want to ‘get back in’. Do I expect Swag-ail to keep getting the right man? No, but they may get lucky.
  14. No idea. Just like I’d didn’t before JDT or Eustace came in.
  15. There is, and we will see that when we are in League 1 in the summer of 2026. But whilst 6th in the Championship? There will be plenty of decent managers interested.
  16. Which good football people would come here? JDT, Eustace to name two. We’ll always potentially attract a decent manager whilst at this level. Good wage, nice facilities and you won’t get sacked, can get your feet right under the table… however won’t take long for an ambitious manager to realise what an unprofessional outfit this is and will want out.
  17. Astute, as always… though obviously an avid reader of brfcs, if not poster. 😉
  18. It’s our fault for not selling many tickets for a cup tie in February according to Reg on the LT.
  19. Crap KO time on free to air, it’s only the fourth round against meh opposition as far as the PL goes. No different to similar ties in the past - the Josh King Stoke tie immediately springs to mind. The gate today is neither here nor there in the grand scheme of things.
  20. He goes to a team sitting in a play off place to the Premier League for a club staring down the barrel of League 1, I would wager Eustace did see it as shite on paper.
  21. Clubs going well form wise have attracted big crowds, club that aren’t, haven’t…
  22. “Good riddance, don’t want people here that aren’t committed to the cause - he’s only won two in 11 anyway “”
  23. To go back to their founding principle - to call for them to put the club up for sale. Then that’s democracy (but we’d need to be asked first).
  24. The site’s biggest keyboard warrior, aye ok 😅 (obviously he’s still smarting that we called him out after he patronisingly told us how misinformed we all were after his tea and biscuit sessions with Swag - yeah didn’t age well, did it). Yeah did all that, I am now a member of WATR, who’s main policy I currently disagree with - and will say so to the committee, presuming I get asked for it at some point.
  25. I imagine non-ST Holder walk on numbers won’t be too far from the norm, it’s a shed load of ST holders swerving it that will make it such a low turn out.
