He’ll be ‘given a chance’ because he’s on a deal till 2028 and we don’t sack managers here (and the fans don’t particularly give them a hard time either). He’ll never be ‘given a chance’ better than this…

I back the players every game, but I can still go to those around me and go ‘not too confident today’… doesn’t make me any less of a fan, you know!

They want to hit an arbitrary revenue target, not get bums on seats. So £400+ in the Riverside incoming, ST Holder numbers ergo nosedive, no bums on seats, no revenue target hit, Ewood becomes even more desolate … but hey at least Suhail gets a bollocking.

Ok, and what? What are they doing about crap sales apart from doubling Swag’s wages?

If you see that happening fair enough, I see them letting it limp on, the losses get smaller as we down size, get shut of the academy and on and on it goes - you can’t put normal business sense on to these owners.

If we sold 0 STs it would make no odds to them, they’d just instruct Swaghail to cut elsewhere to make up the shortfall. We’ve gone from c20,000 ST holders to the nadir (so far) in 2021/22 of 6,995 - they didn’t bat an eyelid.

Yet crowds are at their highest level across the country for league games since the 1950s, so something is obviously making it hot property despite the product being bloody crap half the time…
