Flexi ticket 👍 or 👎?
Mattyblue replied to wilsdenrover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I’d be very surprised if they did it for a full season as you’d see a steep fall in full ST sales as a result, as why bother if you struggled to make night games or moved games etc. -

Don’t most British managers speak in a fairly cliched fashion? ‘Take every game as it comes, you know’, ‘working hard on the training ground’. -
Of course. So not thoughtful Sky thinking of the fans after all when it actually matters...
-
You aren’t ‘invested’ as a Rovers fan if you found it boring, think most saw it as a poor quality game of football.
-
Exactly right. It was poor quality fayre for a lot of it, but you can’t be too invested as a Rovers fan if you thought it was boring.
-
However, the notice period isn’t so great at this point of the season . They haven’t chosen March games yet. So say a Norwich fan coming to Ewood on the 1st (only 7 and a half week away now), it could well be moved, so their fans either take a chance with their train or they wait and see prices creep up and up.

Rob Coar, the immovable object. -
End of the day if clubs across the EFL don’t see a fall in ST sales in the summer after a year of fans being constantly pissed about then they’ve got to have their cake and eat it. However, if there is a fall then they haven’t got away with their greed and Sky will be broadcasting emptier grounds next season. So we’ll see.

So no more ‘critical friendship’? Believe it when I see it. The likes of Mike Graham seem to be a long way from pulling the pin…

‘Other’ fans, fine. Dingles? Not really equivalent to a Stoke fan, are they? We have two regulars already. How many do we need?

Renamed to ‘Burnley’? Is there no end to our hospitality? 😭

Ticket sold figure yesterday was 25,900, home areas sold out and packed (even corporate areas) apart from the very end corner of the JWL (so a long way from 1,500 unfilled) - so the only answer is the capacity is no longer 31,367.

Seems to be a little more to this rumour than some of the others. -
So club happy to confirm then that c1,000 seats somehow didn’t end up on sale in home areas.
-
… which is a majority of the ground. Yet they never seem to get tarred with the ‘long way back to Surrey’ jibes to the extent Man Utd fans constantly get for their glory hunting hordes.

Seems to be a lot of chat in West Brom social media world re Eustace… https://westbrom.com/forum/index.php?topic=29048.675 -
I’d say 250 in the JWL corner netted off. Front row of the BEnd Upper (I believe, couldn’t see from the lower) so another 180. Apart from that, couldn’t see anything, even the whole JWU corporate section was full which wasn’t even the case for the Liverpool QF. So where were the other 1,000 empty seats in home areas? As you say the only explanation is the capacity of Ewood Park is no longer 31,367

First ever post in thirteen years. Don’t fret, another Dingle.

‘I’m not proud, we’re losers’. Great man management to come out with that in media interviews…

January Transfer window

Why is it deluded? They have no impediments stopping them spending and we are a mile away from FFP. They don’t want to spend, not that they can’t.
