  1. Clubs in safe hands, roll on next season.
  2. They speak with great authority from the comfort of the armchair.
  3. Been there @WacoRoverstayed in that weird hotel, avoid the bar, makes Burnley look normal.
  4. Fans play no part in that decision, Mowbray is safe hands, Cocu is not.
  5. Bullshit. They pay to voice that opinion and they’re entitled to do so.
  6. That’s brilliant, proper fans, nowt to play for. Glad they’ve seen 2 brilliant goals.
  7. Let’s not forget it was your man ‘Wee Coyley’ that put this club into the 3rd division and it was Mowbray who got us out. Sources told you Mowbray was unlikely to be here for todays game, how did that work out? Is he in the dugout? I’m not following the game today?
  8. It’s terrible isn’t it, no communication for anyone about whether or not you have a job on Monday morning, the cheek of the man! It’s a disgusting way to treat someone who put the club back on a level playing field after the Coyle disaster. Football fans have short memories.
  9. Like most of the posters on here, its well documented that promotion from league 1 was below them.
  10. I do struggle with it taking any supporter 11yrs to reach a conclusion on these owners, but the rest of your post is certainly one from the Rev I know. If they appointment Dyche or Farke I’d be astounded, even I would have to concede ground in the other direction if that was to happen.
  11. Playing a 20 goal strikers at fullback? You’d be pulling your hair out in no time roverandout!
  12. I posted this a few weeks ago, just a reminder how wrong the bookies can be, 2017, a few days before Mowbray was appointed: Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink 7/2 Kenny Jackett 5/1 Steve Cotterill 5/1 Dougie Freedman 11/2 Nigel Adkins 6/1 Tim Sherwood 7/1 Billy Davies 10/1 Alex McLeish 10/1 Gary Rowett 10/1 Nigel Pearson 12/1 Mark Warburton 16/1
  13. Hypothetical of course. If they provide funds to a new manager, but refused to provide funds to a manager and team sat in 2nd place in January with the best chance of promotion in 11yrs. What do you draw from that Simon?
  14. Neither of those managers run up and down the line either, which seems to be a pre-requisite for our job in some quarters.
  15. When you look at what Mowbray achieved for part of this season with a team made up of academy graduates and loan signings, it will be absolutely criminal if they appoint a new man and provide significant funding. If that does happen I’m joining the conspiracy theory side, that our decline was orchestrated and keeping us down is the ultimate goal here, stifle any progression.
  16. He could be the perfect fit for us then marton - With all the loan players going back to parent clubs, no budget, we could easily be in a relegation scrap next season.
  17. I look back to Peterbr away and PNE away more recently where the fans sang the managers name despite him falling short, despite him being unable to take this shit show of a club into the Premiership. 21 people on social media make little difference in the grand scheme of things. The manager deserves better, the fans deserve better. Venkys Out.
  18. Did you miss this bit: “I hope to be in football management still for a long time because it’s what I do.
  19. Good interview, the words of an honourable man, despite what’s often said on here. He deserves better, we deserve better as supporters and things will continue to be a shit show until they sod off.
  20. Jesus…. You told the site yesterday you’d heard Dyche whispers, bullshit I’d say, then we had QEGS massive who are going to change the way the football club is run, watered down more recently to a trickle….. Its not Matty who will look stupid…..
  21. It’s called reading between the lines, it’s all very spiteful and unnecessary. But you carry on being outraged at Jeff Stelling……
  22. Yet you have no problem with these disgusting owners leaving the manager of this football club not knowing where his future lies? Or his staff, or the players? Unbelievable Jeff!
  23. I guess this all boils down to who is actually running the show. We have a CEO supposedly running things day to day at Ewood, if that is the case the potential candidate list could be interesting as he’s a football man, like him or loath him. If the Venky stooge is actually running the show the appointment will be farmed out to the usual agent spivs and the rest is predictable, small pool of crap, repeat the mistakes of the past 11yrs. Either way we’re goosed until we get rid of these owners.
  24. Even loans cost money, be it a contribution to wages or a loan fee to the parent club. Venkys pulled the financial plug in 2020 if the truth be known, they even refused to replace the pitch. What Mowbray achieved in the summer was remarkable in my opinion, with little or no financial backing, he was given nothing in January to push for promotion. Venkys Out.
