Just recently he wanted to sell Rothwell in my opinion, blocked by the owners, his European scout found Kaminsky, then was sacked. He had his budget pulled in the summer and missed out on every number 1 target, the owners promised to replace the pitch, then pulled the plug and the list goes on. Every manager that has taken the role in the past 11yrs has had 1 hand tied behind his back, King rat aside….

Although the bar has been set extremely low due to our inept owners, with a promotion and top 6 for most of this seasons, he’s actually been our most successful manager of the Venky era. The 8 managers before clearly did a worse job in my opinion.

With those 3 previous failures in the playoffs still raw sgig, I think the majority of the town got plastered after this game. But it all turned out well in the end, like some posters above have said, I never felt we'd lose the playoff final once we got there.

They rode into the club and sacked the likes of Nelson, Salgado, Emerton and one of two others under the guise of getting the clubs finances under control. Move forward 11yrs and we are still in the same position haemorrhaging money only now they're selling off club assets and Jack Walkers legacy in the process. Its disgusting.

Agreed and he has been awful at times, I don't think anyone would dispute that.
