  1. You can't buy much on our budget Matty, I'm surprised we managed to get Markanday to be honest, he must have been on peanuts.
  2. Nope, its costing us alright Gavlar, he was unlucky with Dilan Markanday, I'd wager that ate up all the budget.
  3. He tried to sign Dembele and Obafemi didn't he? He was clearly priced out of both deals if memory serves me correctly?
  4. I disagree, this season has brought a bit of pride and passion back to the club for me, something I've not experienced for a decade or more. It will be extremely disappointing if we fail to make the playoffs from the position we were in yes, but its not unexpected with the tin pot outfit running the club, threadbare squad and the mid table budget. Not everyone feels the same way I'm sure, as I was trying to get across to Matty last night, but its going to be a big summer coming up regardless of which division we find ourselves in.
  5. As soon as he picked the ball up I said to the lads he'd miss, wasn't much of a discussion who was taking it either, I assume they'd discussed it in training. He's got bursts of quality Khadra, but you can see why he's not getting a game for Brighton. @arbitro mentions above that managers have worked Kaminski out, I think managers have worked Rovers out, kick the shit out of them at every opportunity. The leagues full of weak refs, the stuff going on off the ball last night was criminal. Kaminski has been one of our best players this season and whilst he was certainly at fault for the goal, he's saved more points than he's given away. Someone posted about our run to promotion under Kenny in 92, we lost a hat full down the home staright and stumbled over the playoff line, keep the faith. 21 March 1992 Charlton Athletic H 0–2 14,844 28 March 1992 Barnsley A 1–2 13,346 Shearer 31 March 1992 Port Vale A 0–2 10,384 11 April 1992 Watford A 1–2 10,552 Wegerle 14 April 1992 Wolverhampton Wanderers H 1–2 14,114 Sellars 18 April 1992 Leicester City H 0–1 18,075 20 April 1992 Tranmere Rovers A 2–2 13,705
  6. That isn’t quite what you said on both points you raised, but I’ll call it a night.
  7. ……not sure where this non regular stuff is coming from, I’ve had a season ticket for over 35yrs. I don’t do 40 games a season these days, but if that’s not regular then I’m guilty as charged. Results haven’t been average outside these 2 months either, our run started in November, we beat Forest away, Derby away and Sheff Utd home off the top of my head before that.
  8. If you live in a land of Premiership football I can see your point, but I’ve got news for you, those days are long gone. If you started watching football in 70’s, endured the mostly awful 80’s, what we are watching right now isn’t that bad. This season is progress under these owners, progress under this manager, whether you like it or not and I hate these bloody owners.
  9. I go to games to the watch the football, win lose or draw, I'm gutted tonight and bloody cold, but we played well, the facts will tell you we lost, I enjoyed the game as many other did too. Stop talking bobbins.
  10. Hang on a minute, the facts are born out by the people that sit in the stands, not by one game against Fulham and a few games without scoring, thats just nonsense. You may well have hated every minute of this season, I think we've seen some tremendous football played by this young side, much better than I've seen since these morons took over the club. Your facts are your facts, I judge by what I see on the pitch and this is the best side I've seen since this lot took over
  11. Its called trolling, who on a Rovers website ever predicts a 0-4 Rovers loss? I've given you far to much attention as it is, I'll let the site decide.
  12. The Tranmere game was the turning point, thousands of Rovers on a Friday night on Merseyside, 2-2 I think. We had pots of cash back then, we haven't got a pot to piss in now, but we can do this, despite some on social media having already given up.
  13. You predicted a 0-4 Rovers loss, I support all players that pull on the Blue n White. Now who should be embarrassed?
  14. Great point and the stewards didn’t give a toss tonight, that wasn’t the case at Sheff Utd in years gone by.
  15. You predicted a 0-4 Rovers loss on this very thread, you should be ecstatic at a 0-1 loss. Good point, nobody knows, the owners don’t care, but it’s been great watching them this season I’m sure you’ll agree.
  16. Get yourself to the match Darren, cut the middle man out. I can’t stand another minute listening to those idiots in Sky.
  17. Best season in the championship since Venkys took over. Great young side.
  18. It’s been a tremendous season so far, punching above our weight in a division where our budget is decidedly mid-table. Fans that travelled are gutted tonight, but are behind the manager and behind this young team. Freezing.
  19. Gallagher should have taken the pen, Kaminsk has been outstanding but cost us the goal. On the face of it a very good performance, tremendous support, I’m only 15 miles to home. Onwards and upwards. Dirty United bastards.
  20. Ball watcher alert, never goes to games.
  21. Gallagher running his arse off, zero service, the ball watchers won’t see that. If it stays like this I’ll be happy. Rock steady no longer providing the stewarding, it’s a much more pleasant experience than the last time.
  22. Former Premiership squad vrs depleted Championship squad. Ive just seen a penguin ordering a pizza, freezing. Ref is shite, again.
  23. Well is rather windy in Sheffield, and bloody freezing I can tell you. Really tough game this one, but the sort of game this young side relishes and why wouldn't they. Sheff Utd Pigs 1 Blackburn Rovers 1
