  1. Just to put this one to bed and the reason why we never signed Maja in January 2022, they wanted a perm deal. You should be careful accusing people of making things up islander. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19838276.bordeaux-stance-josh-maja-blackburn-rovers-make-ryan-hedges-move/ https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/blackburn-rovers-provided-transfer-update-on-23-year-old-striker/ The Lancashire Telegraph has been told that Bordeaux are looking to raise funds in the January window with Maja one of the players able to leave. However, it is understood they would want a fee of at least £3m for the Nigeria international who has 18 months left to run on his deal. The striker has been a rumoured target for the club for quite some time now and the latest report from the Lancashire Telegraph claims that a deal could be done if Rovers want him this month but it would have to be a long-term rather than a short-term agreement.
  2. It was reported in The Lancashire Telegraph islander, as I quoted to you and booth a few days ago, £3m we were quoted. You’ve said it isn’t true, you obviously know more than the local paper, can we see why you know better? It’s irrelevant by the way, but as you’re calling my account into question, or Rich Sharpes….
  3. You wouldn't know that first of all and its irrelevant anyway. That was our deal, take it or leave it and we left it. Billionaire owners eh........
  4. Man City don’t play with strikers, maybe he was channelling his inner Pep when signing the lad from Spurs, I’ve no idea, but that deal fits the Venky criteria. On Maja, Bordeaux wanted £3m for Maja, in January or at the end of a loan and we don’t have £3m, the rest is history.
  5. He was priced out of his number 1 target Maja, the owners could have made that deal happen, where was the Armstrong money? But without doubt, he could have loaned a striker, the Spurs lad was supposed to fill that role, even though he’s not an out and out striker.
  6. This isn’t our first rodeo pal, you could see this coming a mile off, we saw it season after season in 70’s and 80’s when injuries hit. The owners had a chance to throw the kitchen sink at it in January and couldn’t care less.
  7. Final countdown blasting out now.
  8. Hope everyone’s ok @Paul Mellelieu
  9. Talk about a song being ruined..... I understand arbitro's point above, but I hate that song, its been destroyed by seemingly every sport latching on to it.
  10. Or never went in the first place cocker, anyway Ewood awaits, enjoy the game 😀
  11. On here it is, the fans in ground are fully behind him. Read any past match day thread where we never won and you’ll get the picture.
  12. Enjoy rigger, fingers crossed for 3 points.
  13. 😀 It wasn't a reply to me, its was a reply to garnersfags, but your point still stands, there was no booing, the fans at games this season have been tremendous.
  14. Its the modern way rigger, all manager do it, we've seen it many times here over the years with our wingers.
  15. Some great pics here of the old subways in Blackburn, not Rovers related but I'm sure thousands have walked through on the way to Ewood. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/19981518.great-photos-show-blackburns-pedestrian-subway/#gallery0
  16. His hand has been forced mostly by injury tomphil, surely you see that? Before Christmas we had a settled side winning football matches, if we'd have kept that side fit and unchanged we'd have be on course for automatic promotion, but injuries and BB international call up has killed us, we all saw it coming, you can only get so far with a threadbare squad.
  17. Or maybe it could be that our leading goal scorer has been injured or flying off around the world to play international football. We should have other players stepping up and on occasions they have, but lets not underestimate the impact of losing BB has had on the goals for column. Just a thought.
  18. I'm going for 3-0 Rovers, changed my mind, the fans that go through the gates deserve a win, the matchday support has been superb. I want the lads to get back on track and give Exiled something to take back to Canada. Come on Rovers.
  19. Superb stuff Exiled, let’s hope the lads do you proud.
  20. 211-1 England with a lead of 147. Putting ourselves into a good position if the weather stays away.
  21. I read posts on this side of the forum and have to wonder, at times, if serious infiltration from opposing fans has taken place. The hostility and anger towards this manger is worse than anything reserved for king rat who was an absolute ****.
  22. Rovers 2 Bristol City 0 The end of season points run starts here.
  23. England batting well, 108-1 and now leading by 44.
