  1. Unbelievable win for the Lions after a disappointing 1st half, just tremendous. Next 2 tests in Cape Town avoiding the altitude, 3-0 Lions 🤔
  2. Great bit of commentary: He must have broken his nose, he’s just hoofed that into the Sherif of Carmarthen’s nose, ouch!
  3. Also known on this forum as absolute Bunkum.
  4. The owners have been badly advised according to some posters on here, thankfully I can offer some good advice: **** *** back under the rock and sell the club.
  5. Come on you Lions - Rugby Union not League, but on the international stage Union dominates for sure. Going to be tough, World Champions in SA, looking forward to it.
  6. Sounds like my house...... Don't tell the wife 🙄
  7. I don't want to start the old debate "Stick with the manager we've got because they can't appoint anyone better" but it is a very real concern for me with the dross thats available currently and our track record of appointing rubbish. I'm of the opinion nobody will gain Premiership promotion at the current Blackburn Rovers because the clubs a basket case and off the pitch is worse than on in my opinion. The one thing that the current manager and a new manager could easily do is relegate the club, thats a very real possibility. I loved the league one season, I don't mind admitting it, but I don't want to go there again, as I fear we won't come back this time around.
  8. Our defence has been shit since Venkys arrived Sparks, this isn't a Mowbray phenomenon alone.
  9. The tweet was a bit embarrassing to be honest, we gained promotion 3yrs ago, a tremendous night in rainy Doncaster, in fact one of the only highlights supporting the club over the past 10yrs. Yes Mowbray is past his sell by date, but do the maths next time and don't call us Blackburn, we are Rovers.
  10. Australia and New Zealand have pulled out of the Rugby League World Cup. England now have a chance!
  11. A positive outcome is different for different people Blue blood. A positive outcome for many, after the past 18 months, is to just get back into the stands with your mates to see a bit of live football. A positive outcome could be seeing Armstrong in a Rovers shirt, how about Dack coming back, it’s not all about promotion and playoff places for many I’d wager.
  12. An old one, but speaking of tech support puts me in mind of this gents, some fruity language from the start, but used to have me in stitches 😂
  13. How must it feel for the opposition when you get Butler out cheaply and Malan walks in, with the best figures in world cricket. We’ve a Tremendous white ball team.
  14. It’s not that long ago, proper club run by proper people and what a couple of players in this interview:
  15. You may have a point with the current older generation TS. History tells us that if the teams performing well the fans will come, it’s been that way since 1875. For all the old miserable sods like me and you, we have new fans, our kids and grandkids that can’t wait for the season to start.
  16. Took me a while I must admit, but after Premiership survival at Wolves under that scumbag Kean, I felt that summer would be a turning point, it wasn’t and from that moment on I knew these owners are either thick or crooked, probably both. Badly advised my arse, after 10yrs of decline how can fans be so gullible? I guess a healthy bank balance helps……
  17. I think that comment just goes to show you don't understand the fan base Mercer. Thanks to Jack we'll always have a health fan base, even before Jack came in we punched above our weight on the fan front from time to time. The numbers maybe dwindling, people are sick of Venkys, but they'll return if those rats do the right thing and bugger off.
  18. Football fans in general are a resilient bunch, I know no other industry where as a consumer you can be treated so badly so often, yet still want to throw your hard earned cash at the product. But there comes a time when even the most hardened fan base (which we are not) have had enough and I think we're reaching that point under Venkys ownership. The fans will always be there as far as I'm concerned, thats just my opinion, if Venkys sod off back under the rock and sell the club to local ownership then the fans will return, our fanbase is strong, but many have just simply had enough of the owners and the cr@p appointments. I'll go next season, thats what we do as fans, I have no expectations, we are a million miles from a playoff spot and even further from having a club geared up for Premiership football, I just hope these morons crawl back under that rock and allow this club and town to heal.
  19. One step closer for the Waspi campaigners, a scandal that needs putting right: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-57900320
  20. .....and I've got another one. Hired some equipment from HSS hire last week, what a palaver...... First of all ordered online, thats the protocol at the moment, put my card details in, message comes up, cancelled order, but the money has gone from the account. Rang them up. "We don't take any money up front sir" "Well its gone from my account" "I've just checked, you'll get it back in 5 days, its in a holding area"........ "What about my kit"? "Order it again online but use a different card" That worked and the equipment was delivered, but upon closer inspection a main part was missing, the drivers gone by this time......... "You've dropped off xxxx and xxxx is missing" "Can you nip to B&Q and buy the part, it'll be quicker than us coming back out to you" "Should that not be, I'm sorry we've made a mistake"? "Happens all the time sir, but I am sorry yes" Told them to pick the lot back up and reimburse me, supposed to arrive yesterday, not seen them so far, could come today who knows. Shambles from start to finish, I'll never use HSS hire again. Similar story with Argos this weekend too, but I won't bore you with the details.
  21. I see that crackpot Piers Corbyn was demonstrating against Vaccines in London yesterday, police attacked, arrests made, bottles thrown and general disorder, its been a feature of many demonstrations throughout this pandemic and it would be naïve to think that the mass gathering hadn't caused many deaths across the country. Not much coverage in the media at all really. Sunday 11th July - England v Italy - Small scale disorder, a fence got pushed over and a barrier breached, its still in the news today, but its football supporters, 100,000+ of them in London that day, hooligans that lot of them. Double standards? I'd say so, been going on for years, gutter press.
  22. Changed it for you, please think bigger picture....... Mowbray and Waggot are a symptom, Venkys are the virus, Oxford AstraZeneca over to you, I want to be double vaccinated by August. Venkys Out!
  23. Its not irrelevant Rev, but it does put to bed the excuse that "They've been badly advised" - When in fact they've had lots of very good advice from day 1, coming from real footballing people, they just chose to ignore it and here we are 8 manager later, numerous chairmen/CEO's later and £150m debt.
  24. Bought tickets tonight to watch Bob Dylan in our front room, how about that, 3 songs in, absolute genius. http://www.bobdylan.com/
  25. I remember years ago The Telegraph used to give them to local paper shops, you could get them in the club shop also, couldn't wait to sellotape one to my bedroom wall. Home shirts still hadn't come out before July holidays either, some things never change.
