  1. Did you go SG? Some of that football for 10mins, turns on a sixpence, flicks and movement was superb and led to the first goal, it was outstanding.
  2. Loved the game yesterday, Ewood rocking, we played like Brazil 1970 for 10mins in the first half and a 90min equaliser, tremendous stuff. Dolan was unplayable at times, the lads so exciting to watch when it clicks, worth the admission price on his own. I thought we’d struggle this season, I’ve been proven wrong and all credit to Eustace who has built from the back like all good managers do. Onwards and upwards.
  3. I'd rather lose this home game, than the next one 😉
  4. Just bought 8 tickets and I struggled to find any sat together, looks like another bumper crowd in the offing, let hope the injuries don't dampen the spirit and Rover to win 2-0.
  5. Disappointing to lose so late on, but I’d like to pay tribute to the 1300 fans that made the trip today. Hero’s everyone of you, a few days before Christmas, you’re a credit to the club, superb following and safe trip home.
  6. Absolutely scandalous Matty - I couldn’t care less about raising money, give this lot fook all, it’s a sad day when we roll out the red carpet to these reprobates. VENKYS OUT
  7. Get a ticket bought, bah humbug!
  8. Got to say I obviously enjoyed the win, but goodness me the football on show for the most part was awful. Two bad sides, first goal won the match was the view in the pub beforehand and that was born out at 9.30pm. The only quality in Wednesday side was Bannan, wand of a left foot and the headed chance in the first half he setup with a whipped cross right on the lads head should have put Wednesday 1 up, but thankfully he fluffed his lines. I agree with the comments on Dolan, lad ran his balls off and looked a real danger, Gueye doesn't look like a footballer for the most part, but made up for the lad with his goal. Hillsborough is a bit rough around the edges these days, a great old ground with a decent atmosphere when they get going, I'll be back in New Year for the Sheffiled derby, apparently its some occassion. Onwards and upwards.
  9. Fantastic, I’ll be channelling that ‘only2garners 5-0’ vibes in the home end 🤣
  10. I’m just going to leave this link here, happy Sunday everyone:
  11. We are on the Kop in the home end for this one, don’t ask…… Rovers on a good run, Wednesday inconsistent, reminds me of last season when we arrived at Hillsborough in good form and got turned over by an awful Wednesday side 3-1….. Rovers win 🤞please.
  12. We’ve seen this before, but what a day of football:
  13. 7000 Leeds fans….this 7000 Leeds fans…..that 1-0 Blackburn Rovers - 3 points, nothing else matters.
  14. @Tyrone Shoelaces one for you here, not football related but pulled from the excellent ‘Nowt but a lad’ Twitter feed, Rochdale town centre 1970’s:
  15. Please keep moving the ball to slowly 🤣 5-0 to England against a god awful Irish side admittedly, who needs a German to manage the English national side? Not us….
  16. Cracking main event last night between Zurdo and Chris Billam-Smith. If you have a DAZN subscription go and watch this fight, neither took a backwards step, brilliant stuff.
  17. It’s a goal, yet a fully fledged member of the goalkeepers union, Bob Wilson, says goal kick is the best outcome! I hope we never missed out on promotion by 2 points that season…..
  18. I got Oasis tickets finally…..In East Rutherford NJ, oh well, needs must. Also bought Libertines tickets at Halifax Peace Hall, great venue by the way. Also Proud Mary in Leeds, one of my favourite albums ever - 2001 Same Old Blues, tremendous.
  19. I was away so I missed it, going to watch it on play back.
  20. Absolutely gutted for the travelling hordes, I've been to Plymouth many times, we usually lose and its a long way home. You deserve better, this side under Eustace offer better, keep the faith, safe trip home, you're all a credit to the club.
  21. Got a house full later today for the boxing at Wembley, a stacked card with the likes of Joshua Buatsi and Josh Warrington on the undercard, its set to be some night for the boxing fans amongst us. For the main event, I can't see past AJ myself, Dubois looked nervous at weigh in, he's a tremendous jab on his day but nothing much else from what I've seen, but you never know with the heavy weights, AJ to stop Dubois in the middle rounds would be my prediction.
  22. @oldjamfan1 Great song, great cover. Weller and Noel seem suitably impressed at times throughout the song.
  23. Great assist for the goal from Pears too, just sayin.
  24. Feels like a win, nothing else to say. "Uck off home and wreck your town, you backwards ****s" Enjoy the sun everyone.
