  1. Its great value to be honest Miller11 The cheapest adult season ticket at Hillsborough right now is £565, the same seat: Under 25 £431.00 Over 65 £321.00 Under 21 £321.00 Armed Forces £321.00 Student £321.00 Under 17 £221.00 Under 11 £141.00 Carer £0.00 Disabled £321.00
  2. https://kiefersutherland.com/ I noticed Kiefer Sutherlands band are playing at Leadmill in Sheffield in August, country blues, £35 a ticket. Think I may nip along to that one.
  3. Grimsby v Rovers under Howard Kendall, footage I’ve never seen before and an away shirt I don’t recognise either! Starts around 2.50mins in.
  4. Awful scoring, but right result. All our lot had the draw, the beer table almost went over when the last judges scorecard was read out.
  5. John clearly knows the budget already…
  6. Was very good for Sheff Utd in the promotion season, if it’s the same lad, but out of our budget. Sheff Utd aren’t accepting magic beans as currency.
  7. I know Broughton has had a lot of stick on here, much of it unwarranted in my opinion. He was brought in at a time of real crisis for the club. Mowbray had left, so had many of the 1st team players, manager after manager turning down the top job, no time to work with the incumbent on a plan for the following season and then he helped pull the JDT rabbit out of the hat, followed by the signature of Sammie/Hyam. That first season took everyone by surprise, some of the football was a joy to watch and the team looked rejuvenated by JDT and in no small part to the additions brought in by Broughton. Venkys must have panicked as the team looked like making the Championship playoffs, sadly just missing out in the end. That summer the owners took centre stage once again, one minute Broughton has a budget, then that is slashed, then slashed again, "free transfers Gregg, work your magic"...... oh yes and "We'll be selling Adam Wharton should a decent bid come in, let JDT know will you" ......any the plans to build on the back of the previous season are scuppered, turmoil behind the scenes, job done once again by these abhorrent owners. Anyone working under these conditions deserves a medal, money alone wouldn't be enough for me. I wish him well to be honest, he's just another in a long line of people who have been shit on by these owners and as fans many must be asking themselves, is it really worth it anymore? I don't think so until these rats piss off. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
  8. How can we be in decent shape if we need 7/8 quality signings? That is more or less a new team chaddy and I don’t disagree with you.
  9. To chap Mike, he's trying to make a difference.
  10. I remember a couple of our lot leaving at 0-2 down and they weren’t alone.
  11. Having watched 2 absolute borefests today in Championship playoffs, here’s how it should be done. Although at H/T I didn’t think so…….…Absolute chaos when 3rd and 4th went in.
  12. I couldn't agree more Mike. He was sold because of downright incompetence at the highest levels of the club, a once in a generation talent, a Blackburn lad and the owners and CEO couldn't care less. Nothing improves until we get rid of these rotten owners and the 3rd rate people they employ.
  13. I bet the Premier league can't wait to see the back of them, bunch of 1970's yokels and a manager with a baseball cap welded to his head. They didn't even try to stay up.
  14. Crewe away 92 Coventry away 95 Derby at home 87
  15. Millwall away 89 View from the Darwen End 85 - Is that Peter White with the press pack, adidas cagoule?
  16. Some pictures from years gone by: Massive club, massive support, Newcastle at Ewood early 80's with around 300 fans!
  17. That put that one to bed 🤣 👍
  18. Come on Rangers 🤞 👍
  19. This just isn’t true, football isn’t like any other industry or workplace because the moneys to good to turn down. If Rovers offer the right wages and length of contract anyone will join. If we pay loan fees, loan players will join, we’ve seen it time and time again over the past 5yrs and the cat was well and truly out of the bag on Venkys.
  20. Good month of boxing coming up
  21. Yes very much so, Bellamy was a better player, but take nothing away from Sammie. Its been a joy watching him this season, he, like the fans, deserve better.
  22. Tony Mowbray is a footballing man through and through and if his health improves sufficiently enough, which it sounds as though it will, he'll be back at Brum and pushing for promotion next season, if those bonkers owners allow it. I was with a Brum fan on Friday, his opinion, they wouldn't have gone down had Mowbray remained in charge and they should never have sacked Eustace!
  23. Pears kept us in the game several times today, the lad had a blinder and Eustace kept us in the league, job done. We can all look forward to next seasons relegation battle now... But spare a thought for Birmingham City, who had new owners take over in the summer. New owners who thought it would be a good idea to replace the then manager John Eustace, who had the club sat in a playoff spot. You reap what you sow, its always the fans the suffer sadly.
  24. I was in a room yesterday with a Blues fan, a Wednesday fan and 2 Rovers fans........ We all agreed Plymouth would go down, a couple had put "Heart break" bets on, getting 18/1 and 20/1 respectively. It will be interesting to see how tomorrow plays out, the bookies don't often get it wrong 🤞 Ps - Just a word on Rovers fans travelling tomorrow, tickets sold out a while back I hear. You are all a credit to this great club of ours and deserve better, much better. Each week we read about the tremendous support away from home, you should all be very proud of your efforts. Leicester 1 Rovers 3 (Do it for the fans)
  25. Utter nonsense. If we’d have sold his buys at the right time we’d have almost halved the current debt, that’s how good his buys actually were.
