  1. This is how most fans felt before we went to Sunderland and smashed them 5-1 Tony. This is a Leeds side that couldn't beat the same Sunderland side on Tuesday. I'm reaching I know...... Leeds 1 Rovers 1
  2. Very good JH, made me laugh out loud that one 🀣
  3. We went off the home gates they used to get in 80's, a further allocation would have been pointless πŸ˜‰ 7 March 1987 Exeter City (H)0–0 1,792 17 March 1987 Northampton Town (H)2–1Hoskin 39', Gallagher 70' 2,691 21 March 1987 Aldershot (H)0–1 2,690 4 April 1987 Cambridge United (H)0–2 1,874
  4. You would hope they're drawing up plans right now to offer home fans entrance for Β£10 and get the place sold out.
  5. Spot on Len, especially the part highlighted above. I think we'll survive, I believe we'll beat Sheff Weds, then everyone will breath a huge sigh of relief, job done, everything in the garden is rosy, we dodged a bullet, positivity reigns supreme, then next season arrives.......Rinse and repeat. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
  6. I don't agree with posting abuse online, although I have on occasion told Abbey to 'go away' 🀣 But didn't his wife wage war on Rovers fans, who abused Murphys abject performances online, by posting pictures of her Christian Louboutin shoes! Explaining that her shoe collection would buy a house in Blackburn. Pairs of ****s and I don't mean the shoes.
  7. Couple of dingle related banners from 2000's. One from M65, one from railway bridge near Ewood (My son had no bottom sheet for a week or so, but it was worth it) 😁
  8. The sad thing about it is, almost every player on show today would walk into our current side, if we could afford them…..
  9. Come on Rangers πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
  10. I know it’s like comparing apples and apples, but I’m sure I read Leicester have the most expensive squad ever to play championship football. They were head and shoulders above everyone else before Christmas. I’d put Leicester and Leeds in a bracket above Saints personally. I still think Leicester win the league.
  11. Very good result against a promotion pushing Saints side. Onwards and upwards.
  12. This shouldn't be a dull affair lacking goals, with both teams free scoring of later (Ok, in our case it was only 1 game)! I'd be happy with the point today, but I fear Southampton will probably have to much for us. Rovers 2 Southampton 2
  13. Just reading some of the posters still flogging the Mowbray narrative, in time you'll come to realise the guy did a decent job here and if this was a normal club in any way, would have turned a massive profit on players and probably got us promoted with the proceeds. Getting back to Eustace, he's working with the same players, the same depleted squad (Granted with players coming back) and the same bullshit going on behind the scenes (Players contracts). It all doesn't lend itself to a cohesive approach to winning football matches. He's a decent manager, but the odds are stacked against him, just like JDT, who was the best manager to come here under these idiots and they lied to him. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
  14. Just moving away from the petty point scoring, today’s result was massive in the context of the relegation battle. Eustace has inherited a mid table squad low on quality and lacking in confidence. Today's result was massive and all credit to the manager, players and his back room team, nobody saw that coming. Onwards and upwards.
  15. Superb result, made up for the Rovers hordes that made the trip. Safe trip home and I salute every single one of you.
  16. The Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke heavyweight title clash on Sky last night was superb, if anyone hasn't seen it catch-up on Sky, you'll not be disappointed.
  17. Great picture of Oldham fans in Darwen End mid 80’s.
  18. I agree with you, but if Dolan had that quality on a regular basis, he'd not be playing for Blackburn Rovers.
  19. I've told you in the piece you quoted, he has the ability to get you out of your seat with his attacking play at times, not many of the current crop can do that. He was very good yesterday, hope you enjoyed his performance despite the result.
  20. Who cares what this board thinks? Let the manager manage, he should have been allowed to sell Rothwell when he wanted to, its as simple as that.
  21. I agree with Nixon for once! I heard Troy Deeney saying yesterday that Eustace knows this is a massive uphill task, that is why he took the job.
  22. He'd probably never heard of them, but I'm sure he did some homework before accepting the job, but in football, as in any industry, you take things at face value. He was promised of funds and full control, those promises were quickly renegaded upon and the rest of history. I respect the guy for walking, just as I did with Lambert, you tell lies to the manager and you get what you deserve.
  23. You're looking in the wrong place to lay that blame, JDT was lied to and let down by the owners and CEO, its a familiar pattern. Eustace seems a good guy, the Birmingham fans loved him, but you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, he's not a magician. If we go down or stay up, it matters not one jot, the decline of the club will continue until the owners sod off, owners that judge success by selling academy players, promotion isn't even in the equation.
