I've said on many occasions that the FA Cup tie last season away to Sheff Utd really stirred something inside of me and the wider fanbase, it proved this club still has the support and in big numbers if we can get the off field stuff right. Sadly with Wharton being sold and JDT being forced out, in my eyes I feel like we are back to square one, we are always one bad decision away from disaster under these rats, but in this case 2! I have no interest in tonight's game, I've given my tickets away, but as always I hope we win for the superb downtrodden supporters, they deserve better, much better. Of course, we saw it during this series. We abandoned the all out attack at times, the 3rd innings in this test for example, we batted 26 overs for 37 runs, just over 1 run an over, the first innings was also slow and these aren’t the only example. Stokes first series loss by the way, his record is tremendous.

We could return to the days of 1 series win in 17 which is where we sat before Key and Baza came in? What this side has achieved has been phenomenal, breaking records all over the place, I’m surprised at your comments. Not one batsman comes out with any credit? Its been a great series, enthralling with some fantastic cricket, but at times to have to hold your hands up and say we were beaten by the better side. Crawley was outstanding today in the context of the game, he’s had a tremendous series so far. A 250 lead would be handy, a 300 lead would win this game in my opinion.

We were well beaten last season at home against Norwich, glorious day, big crowd and a noisy contingent from Norfolk that never stopped signing from the first whistle to the last, great away support. As for the game tomorrow, I'll not be going for all the reasons well documented, but as always I hope for a win, but in the end its all irrelevant because whilst we have clowns running the club over here and in Pune, this nightmare doesn't get any better. This England team over the past few years are probably the best test side to represent this country, the records broken tells us that. They’ll not win every test match, the traditionalist don’t like it, but I for one love it and long may this attacking approach continue. Cricket has moved on, England are leading the way, trailblazing a path that the rest are keen to follow. Juts as a side note, here is the last game before BM and RK took over, hammered by 10wkts in West Indies, who wants a return to this?
