    I dont see how we can justify a striker when we have: Graham, Breteton, Armstrong, Nutall and Samuel. He must sell two before we can buy one, surely. Same applies for central midfield.

    Everyone in this thread can see that Phil worked on the problems all Sunday. To clarify, that's working all Sunday, for free, just to give people a website. I'd urge everyone that uses this forum to consider that before belting about negativities whether it's on here, twitter or anywhere else. Everyone working on it does it totally for free, in their spare time. Some of the nonsense which has seen really important people behind the scenes leave the website in the past is disgraceful.

    Just texted a good friend that tends to know about this sort of thing... direct response below: Rovers transfer policy is chaos. They have lost control and now going back to targets they considered last year. Mowbray wanted to stay calm and wait until deadline day to get his #1 targets but Venky's are panicking and saying that money needs to be spent ASAP to avoid not getting players on deadline day. Assombalonga one of many being contacted.

    Downing cannot start central midfield. It just cant happen, it's more important to be mobile than a good player playing CM in this league. Play Davenport and Travis or sign someone better. In other news, I've just driven past Rios in Whalley, who have a "WELCOME HOME GRANT" banner outside.
