Supporters Consultation Meeting 2 May
J*B replied to MCMC1875's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
If anyone wants to go send me a PM. -
I still struggle to accept we did anything but hit the bare minimum of expectations last year. The biggest budget, by some stretch and we finished second. Played weakened teams in games that would have won us the league. I accept the attitude around the club has improved drastically, but I think theres an element of that happening regardless of who was in charge as long as the minimum expectation (promotion) was achieved. I do however think expectations will probably end up being hit this season - a middle-ish finish. My biggest problem is that we dont seem to learn. My position would be entirely based around what Mowbray is saying behind closed doors. If he isn't noticing the mistakes - lack of competition at right back, missing 2 start capable central defenders, a starting left back, central midfielders playing in central midfield, wingers with pace and power urgently required, support for Graham and perhaps most importantly, game management and fight - he would be in big big trouble.

Damien Johnson. Or Jason Wilcox, just to keep you happy.

Oh man, I loved the division but got frustrated at its repetativeness online and stopped playing a year or so ago. I played for a week or so a few a big update but had been left behind. Is it worth coming back to?

Must have been a full moon last night. Thread locked due to the 9 reports overnight.

You're more than welcome to have as many polls as you like. Even with admin rights we cant add (or edit) polls to posts. If you want a poll you need to start a new thread.

Every manager has an expiry date, at every club. Ours expires at the end of the season. Start researching and speaking to people now.
-
We can't change the options, that requires a new thread

Intuition / form - he's walked out of jobs before if it's not going to plan.

He might just end up walking here you know.

Rovers' mouth piece - the LT

You're not totally stuck with it, we can change it to whatever you like. -
I don't care what formation it is, Reed and Travis must both play centre midfield.

The winner according to my random number generator is @oldjamfan1 - send me a PM and I'll put you in touch for the prize.

Not the same.

Players can only be recalled from loans if they are on season long loans and it's during a transfer window. Downing wouldn't come back anyway.

For anyone that may have seen the chaos pre match, a Blackburn fan, walking alone to the game, was beaten up by a group of PNE fans, for being a Rovers fan. He was left unconscious and bleeding from the mouth, head and nose. Passers by gave their shirts and coats to stop the bleeding whilst an ambulance came. He's now back conscious in hospital and speaking, although didn't know it was his birthday. Football, eh.

@Art_of_football on Twitter have kindly given us this Rovers t-shirt to give away. To do so, answer the above question right and a winner will be picked by 9am this coming Monday. Helpful tip, listen to the Don Mackay podcast...

Ep 110 - The One Where BRFCS chats with Don Mackay

Just a quick note to anyone that wants to help keep these going - there's sponsorship available for 12 months of BRFCS pods and it's not a lot of money! -
We're trialling a new weekly feature - BRFCS Discusses - where a discussion point is started every week to be discussed on the forum. If it works the topic could be anything we've taken from reading the forum the previous week, a statement, a question or a poll. The topic won't represent BRFCS or the person who posts it - it'll be a point we've seen on the forum that we think will create discussion. So, the inaugural BRFCS Discusses is... ... with hindsight, where did we go wrong in the January transfer window?

I've been waiting for this moment a while now - thank you, goodbye.

Any closer to an agreement on Leeds to not win the league at a tune of £30?
